The Windsor Court is my favorite hotel anywhere – especially in NOLA! The location, staff, suite layout, amenities, doormen, Club Floor lounge, lounge staff, and food/drinks are top notch! Every staff member greets you with a smile and kind word. We stayed recently for four nights in a Club Premium Suite to celebrate a birthday. We arrived back in the room one night to find champagne, chocolate covered strawberries and a birthday card! The view from our balcony allowed us to watch the boat traffic on the Mississippi River. This was our 5th stay over many years and it is always perfect. A special shout out to Megan Uram Plauche. Also, a big thank you to Christopher and Marissa in the Club Lounge for their exceptional service and warm and caring hospitality. Extra special thank you to Kaomi in the Club Lounge for making the best Kahula Mud Slide I have ever had! The area is very walkable. Casino across the side street, Mother’s (NOLA local food) a few blocks away, the best charbroiled oysters at Dragos in the Hilton nearby. Easy walk to the WW2 Museum – highly recommend the Beyond All Borders movie. Close to the River Walk and Shops and of course Café du Monde. Also, highly recommend Mansion's Luxury Car Service for airport transfers. Can’t wait to come back!

This is one of the nicest, friendliest, most perfectly located hotels I've stayed at. Additionally, I ended up delayed in my return home as a result of sudden tornados in New Orleans. The team at The Windsor Court arranged for me to return from ten hours at the airport for an additional night without question. They welcomed a very weary traveler with open arms. I won't stay anywhere else when I am in New Orleans again and I will look for iPreferred Hotels when booking further travel.

This is one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in, and that is saying a lot. We spent a week in a deluxe suite, and everything about the room, and the hotel, was beautiful. Loved the paintings throughout the common areas. But the best thing was the staff; the service was truly world-class. At the beautiful pool, the spa, the restaurants, the front desk, the staff were all top notch. At this point we are looking for great experiences and this hotel was a home run.

This is the place to stay in New Orleans - when you want top class and none of the trash that can fall at your feet in NOLA. I love this town and I love this hotel - the service is amazing - they know your name and treat you like friends. The bar is a must - polo lounge with piano on some nights. Can’t wait to go back again.

Just a classy, comfortable old school vibe of a place. My wife and i took out 23 year old son and got the big suite which has double doors splitting the king size bed room from the living room with a big pullout sofa. The setup was perfect for us. The room was maybe in need of a slight update. The TV was archaic and I would have thought hard wood floors instead of carpet would have matched the vibe of the hotel. But everything else was first class. You are a 10-30 minute walk from just about everything you would want to see. You are a touch out of the way but we didn't mind that and we always felt safe. I highly recommend.

The hotel is located in a great , quiet, location. We arrived after midnight, and I had called to let them know how late we would be and to hold our reservation. Upon check in we found out that our room had been upgraded, which basically meant changed to a room with a sofa bed instead of 2 queen beds for my children to sleep on. After 15 minutes, and watching another family check into their queen room, we were told all they could give us was a queen accessible room which was fine with us. At almost 1 am , we got to our room to find a huge dustball in the entry and half drunk drink in the fridge, lampshades askew, lights flickering, and the sink drain not in. The hotel in the morning, couldn't have been nicer and turned it around. Gave us a massive room, credit, food allowance and made it right. They moved our things for us while we were out. The rooms are a bit tired, and the tubs are in need of repair. The lobby, fitness room, and pool are very nice.Great stay overall

The rooms are extremely nice and the staff attend to your every need. One of our favorite hotels to stay at. The food at the restaurant in the hotel and their coffee bar/market is exceptional. Their afternoon tea service is one of our favorite things to do here. The location is perfect, as well.

We happened upon the Windsor court on our first night in New Orleans when we visited the bar for live jazz music. We were so blown away by the hotel that we called our other hotel and cancelled the remaining two nights immediately. Every single staff member here (even the night staff) went above and beyond with every interaction we had, and they all seemed to genuinely want to make your experience better at every turn. The live jazz in the bar was top notch with people dancing in glamorous attire and the bartender was amazing as well. We checked in the next day after leaving our other very disappointing hotel and immediately felt relaxed and cocooned in complete luxury from the lobby to the roof. We got a club level premium suite with two queen beds and a pull out couch and we were so happy with our choice. It was perfect for three friends and the staff would make sure the pull out couch was perfectly made up every night when we got back. The club level was a lifesaver to be able to have breakfast or an afternoon snack with all the drinks and bottled/canned beverages you want included. There was hardly ever more than 3-4 other people up there at a time so it feels like you have a bartender/barista working just for you. Everything at this hotel blew us away, with zero exceptions. The spa was 10/10 with outstanding treatments and skincare products, the pool and the bar were both lovely and well attended. Our favorite thing about the place was the service. We were greeted with smiling devoted staff everywhere we went, who diligently helped us with any request and went out of their way to make our stay as great as possible. This is truly a five star hotel without the pretentious and cold attitude that some of the other five star hotels have in New Orleans. We are coming back this year just to stay here and visit our favorite jazz bars, but we may not even leave the hotel!

Sadly I did not experience the perfection that others seem to have. I do have a very solid attention to detail though so here are my thoughts. The lobby is pretty - it was decorated for Christmas and gave a great first impression. We had a suite that was large and spacious. At first glance, it looked very elegant. However, if you looked closely, a lack of upkeep was apparent. For instance, the toilet roll holder was hanging off the wall and clearly broken; the toilet seat slid around so I fell off to the side several times; there was lots of dust, including an atrocious amount behind the night stands and on the plugs; lots of dark scuff marks were on the walls. I will say that the bed was very comfortable. We also had a few minor problems like bath towels not being replenished, room service occasionally not picking up our dirty dishes after we pressed the call button, and briefly getting stuck in an elevator that went slightly haywire. Staff was fine but they never said hello or acknowledged us when we walked through the lobby, which I find odd. Also, if you get a room facing the river, there will be noisy train sounds throughout the night. For the price we paid, I feel like this hotel was sufficient. But I do want to share my experience given all the glowing reviews.

Dear LE267, First, I would like to thank you for choosing to stay with us at The Windsor Court. There are several hotel choices in New Orleans and our team was grateful for the opportunity to be of service. I sincerely apologize for the unacceptable condition of your accommodations during your stay. It is absolutely inexcusable nor does it match our high level of product standard. As you can see from the feedback from past visitors, it is not the norm at our hotel. Your feedback will be used as a re-training tool and reminder of how we present our product to all guests. I look forward to their improvement, so no guest experiences this again. Thank you for sharing you experience; we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back and provide the service you expect and deserve. Sincerely, Ralph Mahana General Manager

We love the Windsor Court. I stay here numerous times a year for business and bring my family with me for leisure. Every time we have stayed it has been classy, old school luxury that lacks in today's world. Service is generally fabulous and when I stay alone for business there is no place in NOLA I feel safer. Unfortunately, we had a relatively poor experience a few weeks ago. I booked a post Thanksgiving getaway with my husband and 4 year old. I knew it was a big game weekend but hotels away from the Superdome seemed to be available. There was no indication Windsor Court had any issues. I booked a premier queen/queen suite through Amex Fine Resorts. After taxes and fees it was $750+ a night. This room was specifically chosen because my 4 year old does not sleep on sleep sofas. He's gotten to an age where he just needs a bed. If there had been only Kings available, we would have chosen a different weekend all together. Day of our reservation (Friday), at 10am, I get an email confirming our queen/queen premier suite. We get there at 1:30 and check in early. At check in, I notice there are lots of people in the lobby and it takes longer than usual. When it's our turn, they tell us there is an issue -- that the are no premier queen/queen suites available, that they won't be available until Saturday. I'm floored as we had only hours before received a confirmation. It became readily apparent that there were a lot of people in the hotel who likely had not booked a queen queen but who requested it at check-in to accommodate several people in a room. Essentially, it appeared our room was given to someone else. The front desk person says, "is it just you and the little one?" "You can easily fit in a premier king and we'll have someone come set up the sleeper sofa." I was also promised a credit for this problem. This was infuriating to me because I knew better but went along with it, instead of telling them to refund us and turning around and driving 2.5 hours home. Well, we got to the "premier king," which I have stayed in numerous times, and it was NOT a premier room. It was substantially smaller than a premier king, and I can only imagine it was a deluxe. So, not only did the hotel fail to provide the room we paid for, they didn't even provide the same size room we paid for. Of course this caused huge issues as turn down came to set up the sofa bed at the same time as room service. But, because this was not an actual premier suite there was no room to set up the sofa bed AND dinner. So we had to take the sheets and set it all up later ourselves. Wasn't a huge deal, but in the grand scheme of everything and in retrospect it's infuriating. As expected, our son would not sleep in the sofa bed and would only fall asleep in the king. And as expected, 45 minutes after moving him to the sofa bed he woke up. He never went back to sleep. THIS was exactly why I booked a premier queen/queen. So, $750+ later we get no sleep and have a 4 year old with no sleep. In retrospect, I should have demanded they work it out or just turned around and left. I fully understand that when I stay at say a country inn and suites, I may not get the room I paid for because others have chosen to cram people into one room with two beds. But, when I stay at a 5 star hotel, at the price I paid, I expect the front desk not make rookie mistakes like this. While we received the "credit" for our problems, they failed to give us the Amex property credit (it so happened the "credit" was the same amount as the Amex credit so it seemed as though they made it look like the credited us at the expense of the Amex credit). So to recap, they charged essentially full price for a room we didn't book, that wasn't even the same size that we booked. I don't know if we'll return. When I look at the 1200+ bill for one night, with room service included, it just leaves an incredibly sour taste in my mouth.

Dear Whitwee319, Thank you for your longtime support and friendship with The Windsor Court. There is no excuse for what you've experienced during your most recent stay with us. The performance of our team that day is not a true reflection of our standards of service, which you are aware of past stays. There is certainly an opportunity to review those standard which I will see takes place. I hope you can except my deepest apologies and I look forward to you seeing those changes on future visits. I would, however, like to take a look at your account in detail and review the credit that was issued as part your stay package and the additional credit that was have been issued as compensation. I will send you a private message to arrange a call. Thank you for bringing your stay to my attention. Sincerely, Ralph Mahana, General Manager
