Located two blocks from Canal Street and about the same from the French Quarter, the location is perfect. The building was erected in 1911 but was remodeled in 2014. The rooms have high ceilings and the floors appear to be wood that is original to the building and not added in 2014. The room is spacious and clean and the bed was comfortable. Unlike many hotels where the shower head is too low for tall people, the shower head here is about 7 feet plus from the floor. There is a bar downstairs in the lobby and it has a limited menu of sandwiches and pizza. Rooms have Keurig coffeemakers and small refrigerators but no microwave. The icemaker produces ice and cold water and is located near the elevator at the center of each floor so no one has to walk from one end of the floor to the other to get ice. Final touch is that the staff here has been unfailingly friendly. My photos speak for themselves and I would not hesitate to return to the Queen and Crescent if I have the oportunity.

stayed here with wife and 2 young kids for 4 nights. the location is ideal - easy to walk to quarter, warehouse district, streetcar stops to get uptown/garden district and throughout CBD. the hotel is split between 2 adjacent buildings. there is a non-affiliated parking lot right next to the hotel. there are a plethora of fantastic places to eat within walking distance. the rooms have an industrial feel with concrete and vintage wooden floors. our room wasn't ready until 5P (even though check in is at 3P). solid choice - would consider again if need arose.

I recently stayed here on my first trip to New Orleans. I think I made a great choice. The budget bus from the airport is only $2 and stops about a block away. The staff was incredibly friendly and the location was fantastic. You're far enough from the crowds of Bourbon Street, but you can walk there in no time. The WWII Museum is a short walk, Superdome and Smoothie King Center are also an easy walk too. I would have no hesitation about staying at this property again.

Hotel is in a walkable location to nearly everything we wanted to do while visiting for jazzfest. Had no street noise from our higher floor room in the main building. A little bit of noise in hallway from housekeeping, but we wore earplugs.

I’d guess the room we were in was one of the smaller ones in the hotel. Which was fine for us, but it a little bit difficult to store clothes If you want to unpack at all. Suitcases did fit under the bed. There are larger rooms as I had 2 booked and our friend’s was a totally different layout as they gave him an upgrade based on my ambassador status with Marriott. The rooms have a cool feel, like you’re in New Orleans or at least somewhere besides your standard corporate Marriott vibe. But we were definitely running into each other unless one of us was in the bed. There was also nowhere to sit besides the bed and one uncomfortable desk chair. The rooms are clean and linens are quality.

The bar made good drinks which are fairly priced. Some of the bar tenders were not super friendly, especially the morning guy who was mad when we wanted bloody Mary’s and breakfast sandwiches- but sandwiches were awesome! Truly.

The doorman, Keith, was always so kinda and welcoming, he makes the hotel a real standout because he’s so excellent.

The rates are a little high during event weekends. But we plan on returning this year for jazzfest

Hello amyem2000 and thank you for the review. While I am happy to see that Keith and the restaurant team took great care of you, we obviously fell short of our expectations in a couple areas. While we do not get noise complaints often, any time we are the cause is not acceptable and I will be following up with the team to ensure we are mindful of the time and proximity to our guests. I also don't like to see that we were not prompt with our service at the bar. Usually one of our highlights, it is an area that we will improve upon. It was an absolute pleasure staying at this property, ranging from the hard product they provided as well as the soft product (customer service).  The property was really unique as I snapped picture after picture to share with my family on how well preserved it is, how they built around the original structure but retained the historical aspects, comfort of the accommodations and a really neat location.  The staff went way over and above on multiple occasions from allowing me to check in very early, magically remembering my name when I walked into the Queen building two days after check in as well as the Team serving breakfast.  Vanessa at the front desk deserves an extra special call out for her wonderful, authentic customer service.  She always had a smile on her face, was the one who remembered my name and took care of my early check in.  This was with such a positive attitude and grace.  I would literally return to this property just knowing how wonderful the staff is based on my interaction with Vanessa. 

Thanks for a great experience and one of my more memorable stays in the last five years.   I have 1381 nights and lifetime Titanium Elite status.  This hotel will stand out for a long time to come as easily in the top 5%.  I will absolutely return to the property if my travels bring me back to New Orleans and will recommend it to both my co-workers as well as family as friends.

I hope the manager read this review. I checked in March 27, 2021 at 2:30 PM & the room was not ready. I used Marriott mobile app to check in at 2:30PM a few hours prior to my arrival. I told the lady at front desk that I could wait for another 30 minutes as check-in time is 3:00PM but she told me that the check in is 4:00PM. She reiterated that not 3:00 even their website is clearly showed 3:00PM check in. When I returned after 4:00PM to retrieve our belongings, the front desk dude gave me the keys without explaining where to go, no breakfast voucher or any explanation about internet. So we took the elevator to the 6th floor and couldn't find our room. The entourage came down to find out the room was in a different building. This is just unacceptable. These people need serious training from the guy saying nothing to guests to the lady instead of apologizing that the room is not ready but lying about their check in policy. Keep in mind when I was there at 2:30PM and 4:30PM I was the only guest (no other customer in line) so this is not a busy crowd for them not to pay attention. If they treat a LT Platinum guest like that I wonder what a non-Marriott member experienced?
Q&C room is small but adequate. Bed mattress is not so good. Location is OK not bad but not great. My experience is underwhelming in general. One good thing is the breakfast. Dining staff are fabulous and they are the only people deserve some credits. I do not recommend or return to this place since there are tons of better Marriott properties in downtown Nola.

I had 3 rooms for myself and family members this past weekend for the Radiators Anniversary shows at Tipitina's. Aleshia helped us at check in and was awesome. The kitchen and bar are amazing. Alli helped us all weekend and her counterpart (can't remember her name) was equally insistent on making us feel at home. I travel as much as 200 days a year for business and this hotel is absolutely at the top of my list. The library across the street was great to have quiet conversations in. The food was as good as most A list New Orleans dining establishments. I had a malfunction on my air conditioning one day and mentioned it to the staff. By the time I got back from Dinner, it was working. When I hear the term Boutique hotel, I usually get the impression that I will be making sacrifices in amenities to pay a high price for a, supposedly, upscale experience. Well, if Q and C is a Boutique hotel, they could teach the Boutique hotel industry how it's done. I get the chance to stay in New Orleans regularly, I will be checking for availability at Q and C on every trip.

Practical things, Bedding and linens are great. Shower head is awesome and instant hot water. Internet was fast and reliable, ice maker on floor, fridge in room. Outlets, did I mention outlets? They are everywhere! Hallelujah! Floors are finished concrete in room. Tile in bath. Rooms are typical size for NOLA downtown hotels. Lighting is superb. Room darkening shades and sheer roll up blinds. it's quiet and it's comfortable.

This modern boutique hotel is part of the Marriott chain of hotels. The decor is modern with a rustic twist, but a little tired in the communal areas. The rooms look like they need some maintenance (loud fridges and air conditioning units need fixing), but the bathroom/shower is stunning with fluffy white towels and Molton Brown products. The hotel is actually in two buildings (all the skyline rooms are in the main building, while the gym and the superior kings are in the building across the road). What let's this hotel down though is the service and attitude of the staff. On arrival we were practically ignored by the receptionist. Had it not been for Sean the concierge we would have waited around for 30 minutes to check in. Of the three rooms booked for the 6 people in our party the rooms were not cleaned on three separate occasions, and when they were cleaned, towels etc. were not replenished, (on the last night I was finally left a shower cap even though you can't reach the shower to adjust the flow and trajectory - so take your own!). The morning staff in the open fronted cafe next to the bar were extremely rude, so if you have food allergies and want something left off your order, don't ask for alternatives as you'll just be laughed at. Overall the staff were unhelpful and rude, apart from Sean, the concierge, Irash, the reception supervisor, and the door men. I wouldn't stay here again, nor recommend this hotel, despite its proximity to the French Quarter.

This hotel is perfectly situated close enough to the French quarter but not surrounded by noise. Great little bar with craft cocktails and good food. Love the exposed brick and hardwood floors. The room was spacious and comfortable and very clean. The staff was amazing. They were so friendly and welcoming. Vanessa at the front desk was especially wonderful. She had a heartwarming smile and a great attitude. Really enjoyed the spot and hope to visit again soon.

Happy Hour is a true event and locals love it just as much as our guests (which says a lot in the city known for its cocktails). We loved our stay at Q&C. The staff is amazing. Ms. Vanessa and Kendrick greet you like family and Tobias treats you like royalty. Our room was exceptionally clean. Nice soft plush white towels. Looks clean. Smells clean. is 100% clean. The bathrooms look brand new and are equipped with Molton Brown Bath gel, shampoo and conditioner. We recommend you add the breakfast package. I’ve included pictures of their homemade beignets and baked oatmeal. They also offer a breakfast sandwich on a croissant with andouille sausage, French toast, Greek yogurt with fresh berries and homemade granola and chicken and waffles. Newly renovated dining area is clean and there is ample space. The 2 buildings are located on a quiet street but a quick 5-10 minute walk to The French Quarter. Near good restaurants: try “Luke” around the corner. We highly recommend this hotel and will absolutely return. Thank you Queen and Crescent for a wonderful stay.

Kingfisher is up the street - amazing breakfast. One block over on Saint Charles are about 3-4 coffee and muffin type places for a quick breakfast. The Ruby Slipper on Magazine and Common is a MUST breakfast place but be prepared to stand in line.

That is a question for Trip Advisor through email or phone call would be my answer. Rooms are small but they are large in comparison to NYC so I wasn’t bothered by that. We stayed 4 nights and did enjoy the trip even though It was a bumpy start due to housekeeping. You can also review on google.....

Not really. You have to be super careful exiting the hotel because you are literally a few feet from the street. The lobby& bar are small & congested most of the time & its pretty noisy.

This hotel is in walking distance from the Convention Center. The convention center is away from everything in downtown New Orleans. This hotel is not in the French Quarter either but withing walking distance.

Although the rooms tend to be small, there is drawer space and an area to hang clothes. We were able to slide our luggage under the bed when not needed. We really enjoyed the location and vibe of this hotel. Enjoy!
