We had the inexpensive inside room. We did not have any windows, which probably helped keep the noise down. The room was on the small size side, clean and very comfortable. (We were not at the hotel very much with all there to do in the area, so the size did not matter to us.) We had a very nice...

This hotel offers the charm and history one looks for when staying in New Orleans. The room we stayed in was quaint and had a lot of character with the exposed brick wall and wood beams. Our room faced the beautiful courtyard. This hotel is centrally located and in walking distance of all restaurants and shops like Jackson Square, Cafe...

We visited this hotel after booking online for a short weekend visit. The hotel is quite lovely and our room was very clean and cozy. We got a petite room and it was fine for the two of us as we don't require a lot of space. The entire hotel was very clean and the pool and lobby were beautiful....

13 friends, 7 rooms - not one complaint! The hotel was chosen for price and location. Price could not be beat and location was perfect for everyone. Various rooms in a number of buildings, all unique. Some small, some large; but it's New Orleans, who stays in their room? Great beds and shower was awesome. One negative is there needs...

The hotel is made up of several buildings joined by a common courtyard area. We pulled up in front and were helped with our luggage right away. The valet service took our car and it was nice to not need it for the duration of our stay. All the employees we encountered were extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was...

The good - very friendly staff, good location, reasonable price The bad - rooms are very small, so if you are claustrophobic watch out. Our room was interior (next to the elevator) and was a little tight with a King bed. Our friends characterized their rooms as over sized closets. This is a very old building so it is small...

Spent a few days in New Orleans before getting on a cruise ship. Wanted a hotel that was centrally located to all the sights we wanted to see on our short trip. This hotel was perfect. Staff was super helpful and friendly. Would stay here in a heartbeat again if I ever end up in the Big Easy again.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
