I am late submitting this review because it’s actually from my trip in November 2018. Thanksgiving weekend. I stayed 4 nights at the French Market Inn, never having visited NOLA before. I can’t say enough about the staff. They’re amazing: friendly, informative, and quick to respond. My beautiful, clean, aesthetically pleasing room looked right over the street and across the Mississippi River. I watched all the boats as I got ready in the morning and the parades that evening. All the jazz bars, French Quarter, Bourbon street were walking distance. I couldn’t have picked a better location for that price and hospitality. I unfortunately misunderstood the laundry thing and left a pair of wet jeans in a laundry bag, because ... NOLA Hurricanes (a popular drink) . I later asked front desk as to the whereabouts of the jeans and it turns out they were discarded. This was ENTIRELY my fault, by the way. After I left, management contacted me with an incredibly apologetic letter and offered to replace the jeans. I will never forget that kindness. I apologize I was so late in leaving my review for a kindness I think often about during my travels. I highly recommend French Market Inn and will definitely stay here again. Can’t say enough good things about the folks that run it.

This was my second stay at the French Market Inn. Loved it when I took a “boys” trip in April of 2018 and loved it either more this time with my wife as we celebrated our wedding anniversary. The rooms are clean, the location is perfect, and the staff are friendly and helpful. I hope to visit again sooner than later.

The hotel is located in the perfect place, right in the French Quarter but not close enough to Bourbon St to be loud or crazy. We had a room with no windows, but we didn't mind. There was plenty of room for the two of us, and the room was decorated nicely. We would definitely stay here again. The price can't be beat for the great location and super cute hotel.

We had wondeful ground floor rooms with shady patio tables right out the doors. SO cozy. Rooms are small but BEDS are awesome and rooms very clean. We were there right before they closed down for Covid19, staff was so nice and very conscientious about keeping things clean. They washed our doors and things 2 times a day. Right across from the Riverboats and half a block to Bourbon St. The tour buses and carriage rides right there at your door. My first time in the city and I will be back and stay here again.

The rooms are on the small side but they are very clean and nicely decorated. The staff was amazing - very polite and helpful no matter what hour of the day. This is a great location for the French Quarter. Close to everything. Rates were very reasonable.
