The Inn at St. Peter is a charming authentic New Orleans inn, just several blocks up from Bourbon Street with the nicest and friendliest staff I've ever encountered. Accommodations were spacious, clean and all rooms have a Keurig😄

Located right in the heart of the Quarter, easy to walk anywhere, yet far enough from Bourbon that night action didn'the keep me awake. Was pleasantly impressed with the room upon arrival & loved the balcony. Nice, quaint and clean (other than the sand on the floor which is the direct result of road construction in front of hotel. It... More

Really, this place is all about the fabulous location. The room is quite small but pleasant and obviously remodeled lately. There is no parking, so make arrangements - that came as a surprise to me. Parking is pricey too - so I ended up parking at a friends place and taking an uber back to the hotel. You won't need... More

Close to everything. Very nice staff. Great price found on Expedia. Nearby construction was noisy but that was late in the day and not a big deal. I'd stay there again. They held onto our bags after check out (and before check in) so we could explore. Close enough to get to the loud fun fast and far enough to... More

The room was very small, smelt musty and damp. The shower took about 15 minutes before the hot water would kick on. So we all took freezing cold showers. The closest place to park is around 4 or 5 blocks away.

This property had a great location in the french quarter and the rooms were still very quiet, clean, and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was small but it was a perfect size for a couple.

The upside of booking here was that it was two streets away from Bourbon Street. But there was construction sorounding the building. Also, no parking on site and having to be directed to an nonsecured parking garage. And the hotel shower didn't have water pressure.

My husband and I went on our first trip to the French Quarter and the Inn on St Peter exceeded our expectations!! We were upgraded to a suite for no reason! The people at the front desk were very helpful and have great advice on places to eat and just moving around in the Quarter. We are already thinking about... More

I had originally booked a room at The Inn on Ursulines for us to come to New Orleans for my husband's and I's 15 year Anniversary, unfortunately we were not able to stay at the Inn on Ursulines due to a maintenance issue with our room, but the Inn called me almost a week before our arrival to let me... Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
