The Inn on St. Peter is the leisure traveler’s perfect retreat to the Crescent City. Carefully restored with traditional finishes, this New Orleans Inn marries the desires for modern convenience and comfort with an historic French Quarter setting.Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Inn on St. Peter was originally constructed in 1805 with its design influenced by the Spanish style of architecture during that period. Gorgeous private courtyards are nestled throughout the property and provide an ambiance and charm that brings every guest back to the peaceful days of the 19th century French Quarter.Throughout the guestrooms and courtyards guests will find the character of the natural wear of time preserved perfectly for their awe and enjoyment. Each of the 29 guest rooms and suites are unique and tell a different story about the spirit of the French Quarter. Balconies preserved over time offer visitors a distinct experience and a glimpse into simpler times.

French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.

Stayed here during french quarter festival. The Inn is cute and quaint with modern amenities. Nice little courtyard. Rooms were clean but small. It was just the two of us and we spent little time in the room so not a big deal. Great location!

Excellent hotel in the Quarter! Very clean and well managed. There is a little noise from time to time but there is a lot less noise here than many other places in the Quarter. Very close to many key spots in the Quarter without being immersed in the noisiest areas. The only

This would be a solid four star review, if not for the noise - be warned, and be very clear about this!! It’s a nice place - period, charming, with character, nicely situated etc. We got what we felt was a reasonable rate for the French Quarter. The 1st floor balcony is lovely

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are sorry that it was noisy. We suggest calling the hotel directly and we can reserve a room in the back section of the hotel where it is quiet. We appreciate you letting us know that the housekeeping department was not replenishing the room supplies in an organized and precise manner as they were trained. We will share your review with all of our housekeeping staff.
