Holy God this place is a nightmare. The first tip off is the rules at the front desk. No guests after 9 pm, "ABSOLUTELY no refunds," etc. Blood stains on the way in, mold everywhere, the elevator certification expired in 2013... I could go on but you could just Google this place to see the previous hotel OWNER was MURDERERED... More

Old dirty carpets in hall and room, very musky odor, very unsanitary . No ice machine and microwave available for guests. I booked thru Expedia. The Property Manager very rude, she needs customer service class. Also a dirty pool, I was very afraid to use.The housekeeper/maid were very pleasant.

Friendly staff. That's about the only positive thing I can say. The place is falling apart. There was mold and water damage in every corner of the room. They keep the AC completely off, so walking in was like getting hit in the face with about 90 degrees of disgusting smelling air. It took a good 2 hours to get... More

I think it is probably safer to sleep on a street corner than it is to sleep in this hotel. I reserved this hotel on Expedia looking for a cheap hotel to spend the night before my early morning flight out of New Orleans. The saying "saving money costs money" could never be more true. Driving to the hotel I... More

This place is a total nightmare. Cockroaches in the carpet, a strong odor throughout the building, rude staff, broken elevator, and lots of mold. Despite the fact that we didn't spend a single night in this hotel which we had 3 nights booked at, we were denied any sort of reimbursement. Avoid this place at all costs. The conditions are... After desperately needing a new hotel, I decided to stay at the midtown even though I had read horrible reviews and noticed it was placed in the notorious Tulane Ave (a very dangerous, and unsafe neighborhood). I was greeted by a very nice lady at the check in, who promised me a room change the next day (was going to... More

Staff is friendly- other than that I am appalled at how dirty and run down this place is. I don't care about fancy, I just want clean and quiet. This place honestly is the smelliest filthiest hotel I have ever been to. Aside from the beds being made up it looks as though the room hasn't been cleaned at all!... More

I loved my stay at the Midtown Hotel. It is perfect for a solo traveler / couple / family in search of a peaceful base just out of town. It costs $7-10 to get an uber to the center of New Orleans or the French Quarter -- or about forty minutes to get there in a streetcar. The corridors are... More

The staff of this hotel was great. The hotel is going through some well needed renovation. If you are looking for a place to shower and quick nap. Check out this hotel. Has washer and dryer on site. Ask for third floor
