My family LOVES this French Quarter hotel. From the perfect location, to the accommodating staff, to the comfortable rooms, there is nothing not to love. The only bad thing is when we have to leave. This is our French Quarter home!!!

Close to the French Quarter and the Market. Very quiet hotel. Our room is clean. Parking is reasonable. Very quick check in and check out. Has a security personnel checking everyone coming in and out at night. Outdoor pool is clean.

Stayed at HP for the third time in four years, and will book there again the next time we come. Service was friendly and efficient at all levels throughout our stay. David delivered the car in minutes with a smile every time we needed it. Location is short walk to all things French Quarter and Marigny, yet more quiet at...

Just got back from first visit to New Orleans. We chose this hotel based on Trip Advisor reviews - there were no negative reviews...not one! - and I'm glad we did. The location is wonderful - quiet, while just one block away from the "action," great restaurants just down the street, or a block or two away, two blocks from...

This hotel is a wonderful gem in a great location! The staff was warm and provided great service. The room was more than nice and very comfortable. The location cannot be beat, being so close to everywhere you want to go in walking distance.

Have stayed at this property 5 times. Love the location. Rooms have been updated. Only complaint is that they no longer serve breakfast. Having breakfast at a hotel when traveling with a group is a huge time saver.

Perfect. Charming. Great location right in the French Quarter. Family friendly-the kids loved the pool and we loved having a drink in the courtyard. We will come back to this hotel again for sure. The staff was so accommodating and friendly. Great insider's tips.

The hotel Provincial is a hidden gem in the French Quarters of New Orleans. As you enter, you are warmly greeted by a wonderful welcome enhanced by the warmth of a New Orleans accent. This is only the beginning. My wife and I stayed here for the first time 41 years ago for our honeymoon and over the past few...

The wife and I have wanted to go to NOLA for a while now and finally got around to it. To be honest, I was looking for cheaper more than anything as far as hotels go because we wouldn't be spending much time there. But this place was not only affordable, but very nice. The bed and pillows were excellent....

Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
