This was our first time in New Orleans, and we lucked out with Maison Dupuy. It was within walking distance of everything. It was close enough to all the action, and far away enough for quiet, relaxing time by the pool. Staff we friendly and helpful. The rooms were perfect for a short getaway.

Received a referral from a friend who had stayed at Maison Dupuy before. We were not disappointed. First class reception, concierge service and staff. Restaurant and bar were excellent. Location was the topper, within walking distance to everything the French Quarter has to offer. Strongly suggest a visit to the Cafe Dumont, Benets are to die for.. Steamboat tour on...

This was an anniversary trip for me and my boyfriend. He had never been to the French quarter before so I wanted to stay close. This was fairly close, but do bring comfortable shoes because you will be doing some walking. The room and bathroom were a lil smaller than in the pictures, but both were very clean. Overall great...

Just 2 blks from Bourbon St its so easy to get into the party scene but this hotel is also the perfect escape from the noise and the crowds. It's also close to Canal St and the streetcars so more of the city is accessible.

I would stay at this hotel again in a heartbeat. I can't say enough about how warm, welcoming and kind the staff was. Check in was so easy. The wait staff at the restaurant were the best we have had ever (and we are well traveled)! We brought our two boys with us (age 2 and 4) and the staff...

Located in the French Quarter, Maison Dupuy was a great value. Rooms were clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The concierge was able to find several interesting things ha]ening the weekend we were there. The courtyard seating was excellent, although we didn't try the heated pool.

Andrew H, thank you for sharing your positive experience with your fellow TripAdvisor users. You have to try to pool next time. The entire newly renovated courtyard / pool area is so nice. Best regards, Steve Ferran General Manager

Beautiful hotel, but don't expect a good night sleep. The beds are made up with two sheets only to cover yourself. Also, if you have an adjoining room its best if its with people you are traveling with. The shared door wall allowed us to hear every conversation and song on the radio. We even woke up with out neighbor's...

Thank for staying with us. All of our beds are triple sheeted with a blank in the closet for those few cold nights in NOLA. Steve Ferran General Manager

In a less rowdy area of the quarter, although I'd suggest keeping the fan running at night to help with street noise and balcony parties nearby...because it IS New Orleans, afterall! Small, quaint hotel. You can tell it's an older property, but it adds to the charm. We enjoyed the outside lounge areas near the pool. Excellent value for the...

Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
