We got a great deal on hotels.com for our two night stay. The location is great, and the room was exactly what we needed. No frills necessarily, but still very nice and comfortable. The staff was very friendly, and the valet experience was very positive, as well.

Location is great hotel is a dump. Service is absolutely terrible! Rooms are outdated. Carpets worn out. Roy the concierge is a great employee. Doormen are too busy chatting with other employees to busy to open doors for guests.

The hotel was in a great location. A few minutes walk to BOURBON STREET. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Looking forward to visiting again during a different time of the year. I would recommend this hotel to a friend

Great hotel! Superb location! 2-3 blocks to Bourbon Street! Helpful staff! Clean rooms! Valet service available. Pricey but probably standard fare for New Orleans. Went for business and vacation. Did not try the bar/eatery but wish we had had time. Went in December and it was very reasonably priced.

Great location in the French Quarter close to Bourbon street, riverwalk and shops. Room was average, overall hotel interior appearance was dated, exterior appearance was beautiful with good service. Disappointed there was no refrigerator in the room but there was a great view of the courtyard .

Thank you for choosing to give us a try on your recent visit to New Orleans. We appreciate your staying with us. Our location was made even better with the recent addition of the Rampart streetcar line just one block away from our doorstep. We do have refrigerators available though by request. We hope to see you again. Steve Ferran...

April 2013 I had never been to New Orleans before and my husband had been several times. He always stays at the Maison Dupuy. When we checked in I was amazed by the beauty and charm of this hotel! We stayed in a suite and it was so nice. We have not been there since the updates, but we are...

You would never know that this hotel is near Bourbon Street. I stayed four nights and found it peaceful and quiet the whole time. They even have a very nice exercise area. Beautiful courtyard. Excellent food and great service. The only one annoyance during my trip was that the iron in the room was a little bit old and stained...

I sincerely apologize that the iron was not in proper working order. If the drycleaners can remove the stain, please forward the charges to my attention and we will take care of it. Thank you for choosing the Maison Dupuy and for your very kind words about your stay with us. Please visit us again. Steve Ferran General Manager

There were no cokes in the quick pantry off the desk and a young man went into the restaurant, after hours and got us a diet coke. He had already clocked out and was ready to go home. I really appreciated this.

Undercooked food. Occupies unfinished rooms. Front desk isn't much help. The best thing hear was the Valet. The Valet got your scores up to where they are now. If it wasn't for Valet I wouldn't have even paid for this room. Because honestly it was a waste of my money

Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
