We stayed 3 nights at the Maison Dupuy in August 2017 and cannot wait to go back! This Hotel had everything to offer to beat the heat & humidity of NOLA in the summer. The rooms was spacious, elegant and best of all cool! We opted for a balcony view of the French Quarter verses the pool and were not... More

The Maison Dupuy Hotel has a classy and fun elegance.....beautiful and welcoming. Rooms were very good and bed and bedding so comfortable. All staff - front desk, bellmen, housekeeping, waiters....all so friendly and helpful. The courtyard rooms offer a fabulous view and we even witnessed 2 weddings from our room. Just be prepared for the valet parking charges - $38+... More

Stayed one night - Hotel is in a very good location in the French Quarter with valet parking which is convenient but quite expensive. Check-in was slow and not overly helpful. We had booked a room with what we expected to be 2 queen beds and received 2 twins which were not really big enough for 3. Our room had... More

Thank you for your review. I apologize for the confusion regarding the types of beds we offer. All of our two bedded rooms come with two double beds. Our balconies offer two great views: either the courtyard or a scenic view of the French Quarter; both are fantastic. One advantage of our parking garage is that it is secured and... More

Made up of several French townhouses, this hotel is beautiful. Were were very much looking forward to this hotel and from the moment we arrived here everything went well. The valet parking process was smooth and un-rushed and our bags were whisked away by the bell captain. Check in staff was friendly and helpful and the process was equally smooth.... More

Have stayed at the Maison Dupuy many times. This is an excellent hotel with service being among it's greatest assets. It tends to be a couple of blocks off the night life of the quarter, but that probably adds to the charm.

Nice hotel with a lovely courtyard. My only issue was they tried to give me a lesser room than the one I booked. Once we called the desk, they moved us. They also didn't tell us about the $200 hold for incidentals. Room was nice - VERY comfy bed, but VERY small bathroom. Overall a nice experience with a couple... More

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to write a review Nicole T. I apologize for the mix up with your room at arrival. It seems the Front Desk team was able to correct it quickly. The incidental authorization typically expires shortly after checkout and they should have made you aware of this. Steve Ferran, General Manager More

Love the location, service was great, but this place is really expensive for the average pocketbook. We attended a wedding in their courtyard, and it was really a nice place for such an event, and reception. The food was good but not exceptional.

KellywW955IP, thank you for staying with us. Our courtyard has become even a bigger attraction for weddings since the renovation of it. It’s the perfect setting for a social event. Our room rates will vary a bit depending on what’s going on within the city at any given time. We are grateful for your feedback. Steve Ferran, General Manager More

Hotel entrance, courtyard and lobby all beautiful when you walk in setting you up for a HUGE disappointment when you walk into your room. Room felt dirty and hasn't had an upgrade since the 80's. With the rate you pay I'm sure the mgt has plenty $$ to put towards room upgrades.

King with Balcony very small. Not worth the money for a balcony. Lobby smelled like sewage was backed up. Prob will find a new Hotel to stay for out NOLA trips. Normally we love the Maison Dupuy for its location and Quality

Be sure and solidify your type of room as the front desk is not very concerned about it. Be sure and go to the happy hour in the bar - great service, food and prices. If you do get a balcony you should go for the outside ones. Great place to relax and watch the city happenings.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
