Tremé
That sound? That flavor? That certain je ne sais quoi that lets you known you’re in “Nawlins” and nowhere else? It’s all good and in broad abundance on the streets of Tremé, where so much of what’s considered to be the very best of New Orleans culture and tradition is, put simply, just how people go about their daily lives in this historic part of town. As one of America’s oldest African-American neighborhoods and among the nation’s first established residential areas for free people of color, Tremé’s significant heritage and contribution cannot be understated. This is especially the case when considering some of Tremé’s most famous residents, most notably jazz great Louis Armstrong. For full flavored food, funky and jazzed up music, and vibrant street life presented with homegrown pride, you can’t beat a visit to Tremé.

We chose it as last moment, closest to the French quarter for reasonable price, great choice! We changed our room for one with pool view and porch. There is a free wifi, not excellent but works. Free coffee all day and night! Ice machine next to the pool. Very helpful attentive

Room was spacious. The hotel is well-located for the French Quarter and the streetcar from the Greyhound and Amtrak station stop right in front. For some reason SuperShuttle wouldn’t pick me up from here to go to the airport. Breakfast was a bit sparse and the employees saw me

I have been coming to New Orleans for the past ten years. Any time we can get a room here (which is hard to get lol) we do! It's my daughters absolute favorite! Rooms are comfortable, staff is always friendly and location is so convenient to Bourbon street and Canal.

Hotel staff was very nice and friendly. Our room/cottage was also nice. Not impressed with bathroom and shower. Took forever to get hot water in the shower. Second person to take a shower also had to wait for the water to get warm again, was nearly finished by the time it

Dear guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We apologize for the difficulty you encountered with the hot water in the shower. This is, of course, something that we would love to hear from a guest as soon as possible in order to ensure the issue is faced head on and rectified efficiently before the guest room is rented again. Our staff are happy to look in to the possibility of relocating any displeased guest to a room that might better suit their needs. Thank you for your compliments on the staff. We're glad to know you felt you were in good hands, as we consider guest relations to be very important. Do come again if you will--we would love the chance to provide you with more suitable accommodations.

Can our 30 pound goldendoodle stay with us at this hotel?
My suggestion is for you to call the hotel itself. Great place, but I’m not certain about pets.
