The location was perfect, at walking distance from the main spots, so we saved some money in transportation. Comfy, and cozy at a very fair price. The service was mighty nice, booking our tours, marking the main spots on our maps. Greets to Kirby who prepared our bathroom as quick as a cat when we missed the room cleaning schedules... More

We planned our elopement within 2 weeks and wanted to have the ceremony in New Orleans. I called and checked on many places that wanted a huge amount for a ceremony that was only going to last 20 minutes. When I called St. Pierre and talked to Allyson, she immediately checked to see if they could accommodate us. They actually... More

The hotel was beautiful. My young daughter and I stayed for two nights, and loved this hotel. The staff was very friendly and always helpful. We loved the quaint courtyards and pools. While our room was very small, it really was perfect for our stay...we spent very little time in the hotel. We were there to sleep, and swim when... More

Highly recommend this hotel. Very friendly staff. Troy from the front desk was always very helpful and Mr. Greg always had a smile in his face. My only complaint would be that the rooms need a full length mirror and the AC could be cooler. We will surely tell our friends about this location.

We came to New Orleans for my birthday weekend and staying at the Hotel St. Pierre was an awesome choice. The staff was always helpful and did everything with a smile. Kirby and the breakfast chef, Mr. Gregor were wonderful. Speaking of breakfast, it's included in the price of the hotel stay. This is not some dumb continental. We got... More

Illian B, How wonderful to hear that you were able to enjoy so many of the hotel’s amenities: daily breakfast in the lobby, cookies and milk in the afternoon and our inviting pools and courtyards! Where to begin? The staff: Joseph H. met us at the door, delighted to see us as if we were old friends. He had the same smile and friendly way bout him for the entire two weeks. He knew the best bars and gave precise and accurate directions. Kerry H. and Ben, despite our very early arrival, had Housekeeping attend... More

Visiting with a couple who had stayed numerous times at St.Pierre, we were pleased to find a nice room, wonderful staff, and refreshments thought the day in the lobby. Our room was in the building across the street from the lobby. The ceilings were very high with gorgeous crown moulding and the bathroom had been nicely updated; however, the carpet... More

The hotel has a very old time, cozy house feeling. The room was ready very early so I just dropped my bags and went to visit the city. Benjamin at the front desk. He is awesome and helped me with direction and booking tours. I called.to request towels during my stay. Marshall was there right away.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.

On the National Register of Historic Places, the Hotel St. Pierre, with its authentic French Colonial cottages dating back to the 1700's, embodies the architecture, romance, and ambiance of a bygone era.
