I stayed in the French quarter at Hotel St. Pierre. I absolutely loved it! You have privacy, there's pools to swim, and the best part is the friendly staff everyone was nice but there was one in particular. His name was Teddy... He made sure he assisted with everything we asked. He was very nice and made the trip one... More

This room was paid for by a company wanting to sell us a timeshare or we wouldn't have stayed even one night and almost didn't anyway. The room was filthy. My bed was full of hair from the person before me. The lighting in the main room had cobwebs so old they had dust on them and two of the... More

The staff was GREAT. MR. GREGORY was the best. He made sure we felt welcome and made sure we had what we needed to start our day. The housekeeping staff made sure we had all the extra towels that we needed in a very timely manner. We loved the stay and would definitely return.

A very pleasant get-away trip to New Orleans and the Hotel St. Pierre was the perfect place to stay. Our room (the Billie Holliday room) was spacious, comfortable and quiet. It opened onto one of the many courtyards that connect this collection of historic houses and cottages. The two small pools were great after a day of walking...deep enough to... More

I stayed with a group of friends in 2 rooms in the spring. One room was upstairs and one down with a small courtyard in the middle. The courtyard was perfect for hanging out and gathering before heading out. The hotel overall was beautiful with a great lobby/breakfast area, nice private pools, and plenty of charm. There were a few... More

I'm torn between an Average and Very Good rating. The best advice I can give is to do your homework. This hotel is comprised of cottages that date back to the 1700s, so if you have high expectations, I suggest you book with a national, cookie cutter chain. It's on the National Register of Historic Places, so if you're expecting... More

I stayed 1 night then left, ants in room, black mold in bathtub, excessive mold smell, wall AC unit wedged into window with plywood growing mold in window seal, and guest services didn't even clean up our room.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.

On the National Register of Historic Places, the Hotel St. Pierre, with its authentic French Colonial cottages dating back to the 1700's, embodies the architecture, romance, and ambiance of a bygone era. Contributing greatly to the hotel's charm is the relaxed atmosphere of this quiet residential section of the French Quarter. One would never guess its proximity to world class dining, culture, and the lively nightlife of Bourbon Street. Secluded lush tropical courtyards, balconies, pools, and fountains help make this the perfect spot for a family vacation, romantic escape, or storybook wedding, as well as for incentive trips, reunions, and family vacations.
