The location is fantastic, close to the action but far enough away to get some sleep blocks away from Bourbon St., Armstrong Park, Frenchman's, the Warehouse District and a quick trolley ride to the Garden District. The hotel advertises continental breakfast but that's no longer due to the pandemic. There's a little pantry store kiddy corner for snacks. My husband and I were traveling with another couple, check in went well. Cute little courtyards and balconies to hang out at, the resident cat Nola hangs at the pool and is very sweet. But, be prepared to haul your luggage up the stairs if you are in a room not on the first floor. The rooms could be MUCH cleaner and better maintained but the hotel is older and the charm of the place outweighed that stuff at least for me. I also wish the hotels would go back to cleaning your room daily but that seems to be a pre-pandemic thing. We were in town for four days so no room cleaning for us. We were able to get fresh towels at the front desk no problem. And, the locks to the rooms are not the greatest, no key card readers, real keys but the lock to the door frames are loose, definitely not real secure. The beds, sheets and pillows were very comfortable, the rooms were appointed with the basics, the shower pressure was good and there was no lack of hot water, our AC and TV worked perfectly as did the refrigerator (we didn't use the microwave or hairdryer) and they have WiFi. Since we were in town in March and the weather had been warm we wanted to use the pool but that wasn't skimmed so we just hung out at the courtyard. The staff were pleasant, helpful and accommodating, good coffee in the lobby, but the upkeep of the rooms needs work. I would stay here again, for me it was more about the location, charm and helpfulness of the staff.…
Had a great stay friendly staff, great charming older but clean and modern appliances. Great on site parking walking distance to Bourbon street and great restaurants. If you are going to visit the Big Easy this is a great place to stay.
My tv did not work, I spent $800 for 3 evenings and it was a really dirty and old bathroom. Historic but not maintained well. Lobby and main common area was nice but the rooms were not the same standard or clean and working.
I’ve always wanted to stay here and I finally did. It was just for one night but that was all it took to feel rejuvenated. Very nice, handsome guy working front desk checked me in early. I adored the swimming pool and had a nice night swim. The room was cozy and the bed was great. If you want to get the full experience of the enchanting spirit of New Orleans, stay here! They also allow late check out for a reasonable fee.
Excellent customer service. Greeted with a smile everyday. Accommodations were amazing! Beds are comfortable. Courtyard area was great. Felt safe. Location is hard to beat and short walk to just about anywhere in The French Quarter. This place has a certain nostalgia about it just like the rest of the area!
Charming old building in an excellent quiet location in the French Quarter. Lovely breakfast place around the corner. Really pleasant staff who gave lots of useful info about the city. Wifi works well in the lobby, but should be expanded to cover all the rooms.
Rooms were very clean, staff was extremely helpful, and it was a great location. From the minute we checked in, we felt at home. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were accommodated! Thank you so much, we will be back!
Very cute asthenic. If you are looking for a quite hotel surrounded by things to do this is the place. Rooms were clean and staff was very friendly. Walking distance to Bourbon Street and everything in-between. Corner market is super convenient
Funky place in a fun residential neighborhood- not a luxury experience- would be better if you get a lower price than I did- Staff are pleasant - Maybe if you get a decent room would be better. my room was cell-like
Found St. Pierre on Hopper and had an excellent stay in a premium two queen room. All the fun and spectacle of the French Quarter without the scene on Bourbon St. Our only concern was the beds are really tall… like the hotel provides a step stool tall! The beds are comfortable, the hotel felt safe, and the little courtyards provide a reprieve from the insanity that can be NoLa. Highly recommend!
