Huge room and great location. The doors lead out to the patio and made our stay very nice. The staff was awesome and were more than glad to accommodate anything we asked for. I'd defiantly recommend this place.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Lovely quaint place just far enough from Bourbon St to miss the noise but close enough to be near the action. Good staff, clean rooms and all very helpful. If you have mobility problems avoid at all costs as no lift available..

Booked the Hotel through Booking.com for spring break. Plans changed and reservation from booking.com was canceled. Received confirmation email saying it was canceled and to not worry, your card will not be charged. Card was charged and The Saint Phillip will not issue the refund even when we showed them the confirmed cancelation email. BUYER BEWARE!

Located between Royal an Chartes Sts. You can walk up one and back to hotel on the other. Bourbon St only one block north of Royal. Get the one bedroom balcony which overlooks St Phillips st. Courtyard needs a little upkeep and shower head needed a little coaxing to function.... Otherwise a quaint small hotel with some Nawlins character. Staff... More

My husband and I were in New Orleans for almost a week and loved our hotel. The only issue we had was all the stairs, but it allowed us to burn all those calories from all the delicious food. The a/c worked perfectly which were grateful for since it was oh so humid. The staff was nice. We spent most... More

I originally booked my room through booking.com however I was called by the hotel and told that I would have to dispute that charge through my bank and re-book through the hotel because they where "under new management". After checking my bank account and seeing I was not charged I booked through the hotel. I asked if I could have... More

When I first saw the outside of the hotel I was a little concerned about my stay. Being alone and female my biggest concern was safety. I'm always a little concerned with cleanliness as well. After checking in, I was happy I didn't have to worry about either of these things. I spoke with the office staff and they put... More

Very unique hotel in the French Quarter, conveniently located so that you can walk to almost anywhere. Far enough away from the craziness of Bourbon Street, but only a five minute walk to the French Market and Cafe Du Monde. Stayed in the Deluxe Queen room with a balcony (room 7). Had a full kitchen, separate sitting room and access... More

Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
