Hands down, one of the best bed and breakfast experiences we've ever had. From the moment I reached out to inquire about a room to the moment we checked out, Tom and Patricia were outstanding hosts. The email communication we had was prompt, friendly, and thorough, and Tom provided excellent feedback and details for every question I asked. When we arrived, it was a bit before check in. Tom gave us a tour of the home (which is gorgeous, but also very warm and friendly) and made us feel right at home. He is such a welcoming and thoughtful person. He was kind enough to hang onto our bags and we were free to explore the city. Once we checked in, we were so pleased with our room. Meticulously clean and so, so comfortable (which is really important to me, more so than the trendy finishes that seem to be proliferate at many places). The bedding was really soft and smelled terrific and the beds were very comfortable. Our room also had a daybed, which worked out well as I was getting over a cold and my husband likes to sleep :) Breakfast was delicious and every person who cooked was great about my dietary restrictions. Coffee was hot, rich, and plentiful. Patricia is one of the nicest and warmest people I've met in a while. It was delightful to chat with her, and she and Tom host a nice social hour on the weekends with cheese and fruit. We bought a bottle of wine and hung out and played a game while snacking before going out to dinner. Our flight left later in the day, and once again Tom and Patricia held onto our bags so we could enjoy our last day before leaving. The house is in a great location, close to many restaurants and shops and a quick walk or bus ride to other neighborhoods. We can't wait to come back!

We were so glad we booked to stay here for a few nights to start our honeymoon. The location is brilliant as it encourages you to see a bit more of the city. Just a couple of blocks north you can get the St Charles Street car all the way into the city (about a 10 min ride) and just a few blocks to the south you can get the number 11 bus down magazine Street to the city centre. Lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance or a short cab ride. Tom and Patricia are extremely friendly and accommodating and more than happy to give you recommendations of things to do or places to eat. We arrived well before the agreed check in time intending to leave our bags and go and explore but Tom had our room ready for us at 8am! The breakfast is great, rooms are clean, beds are comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Maison Perrier in late October 2019. Our experience there was outstanding form start to finish. The owners, Tom and Patricia, are great hosts. Before we arrived, Tom worked closely with us to plan an itinerary, guiding us through the selection of tours, restaurants, and music venues. He also made all our reservations for us. The airport transfer went flawlessly; the driver was waiting when we arrived; the charge was covered in our package. Maison Perrier is conveniently located three blocks from the St. Charles Street Streetcar. The neighborhood is walkable and safe. Maison Perrier is composed of two historic homes combined into one. It is nicely furnished. Our room was quiet, cool, clean, and as big as we could want. The bed was very comfortable. The hot breakfast was different and delicious each of the four mornings we ate there. The most important thing about Maison Perrier - the best thing about it - is the hospitality shown by Tom and Patricia, and their commitment to helping their guests have the best time in New Orleans.

Wonderful, welcoming, helpful hosts, happy to do bookings for trips for us ...thank you Tom and Patricia. Stately, beautiful, comfortable rooms. We were upgraded to king room "Claudette" on ground floor with private access to front porch...delightful. Perfect, safe location. Easy walk to many good restaurants and cafes, and to the street car and buses on St Charles St with access to the French Quarter, Bourbon St. Like staying with family. Can highly recommend.
