My wife & I have been coming down to Nola for the last 10 years and I can truly say, this is was the best stay ever. Tom was a gracious host and our room was delightful. Fantastic art throughout Perrier & great open rooms with high ceilings. Wonderful neighborhood & great for exploring & taking in all the connecting neighborhoods in this Uptown area. For sure we will be back. And big thank you to Patricia in getting us our items left behind.
Wonderful stay for a long weekend. Tom and his wife were absolutely wonderful hosts. Everything was more than expected. Well within walking distance to several things to do. Very comfortable amenities throughout. Second story balcony is perfect for visits.
Located uptown, in a Garden District neighborhood, near Magazine St. We've been staying uptown during our last few visits and this B&B is a good choice in a residential area. We stayed in the downstairs bedroom. There are several well-appointed sitting rooms downstairs, but due to covid protocol, all guests pretty much kept to their rooms instead of the common areas. There's a library filled with books and games, for those rainy days. The kitchen area has a refrigerator, with water and soft drinks. There is a breakfast area, but this trip involved contactless delivery of the guests' continental breakfast choices. The room was comfortable and quiet and we enjoyed the atmosphere.
If you're traveling to New Orleans, stay here. Mr. Tom and Ms. Patricia are fantastic hosts. The property is even more beautiful in person. Simply stunning and immaculately clean. Beautifully furnished with intricate details throughout. We loved the location. It's away from the chaos but conveniently located a short walk from the street car. Our wonderful hosts also helped guide us on where to go and how to get there. They are exactly the locals you hope to meet. Friendly, helpful, and fun to talk to. They definitely exceed expectations and go above and beyond to make sure you're comfortable and all your needs are met.
We have previously always stayed at the Sully Mansion when visiting NOLA. It was recently purchased by a couple for their private residence (!) and is no longer available. We found Maison Perrier by searching and reading reviews......We are SO glad that we did! It is a perfect house in the perfect location. The rooms are clean and beautiful. We really felt as if we were part of the neighborhood. It is within walking distance of Superior Seafood (to drop in and get a frozen French 75 to go!) and a 20 min walk to Commander's Palace for Friday brunch. We already have reservations for the fall and look forward to returning!
