Within walking distance of everything in the Quarter. This historic building is quaint and well maintained. While the room was not really large, it was comfortable and large enough for a few nights stay. Very restful. We will stay here again.

In the middle of the French quater we booked this hotel, a nice room, with balcony on the back site. Clean and fine. The staff is friendly and helpful. So go there and you gave a good time. When you want to go out, you are right in the middle where things happening

We walked in and was able to book a room, in the lobby. The young man at reception was amazing. The staff is soo helpful and friendly. The hotel is in a great location. Walking distance to everything in the French quarter. And literally a stones throw away from cafe du monde. It's a small, quaint old home, converted into... More

Rooms are clean. And They also let us check in early. Very helpful front desk.. Greets you when going in and out. Accessible to everything. Perfect hotel not too far and too close to the loud bourbon street. You could still have your peace at night. Only con is the uneven tile in the bathroom... Kinda hurt my foot stepping... More

This is a gorgeous hotel in a great area. The street is very noisy so light sleepers will probably need ear plugs. I was given a balcony room which was amazing but would have preferred a room in the back of the hotel due to street noise. Ear plugs were a quick fix. The room was wonderful overall.

Great location; accommodations overpriced and underwhelming. The hotel smelled damp and mildewed. Twenty four hour pool kept garden side guests awake at night. Rooms too small. Decor did not suit a french quarter hotel.

Found hotel to be a great location and staff is fantastic. Balcony room was clean and spacious but sparse furnishings. Noise level of trash collection problematic throughout night. Courtyard too small.

The staff were exceptionally helpful especially sherrard for whom nothing was too much trouble. He gave us numerous excellent recommendations of places to eat and things to do. The hotel is old and has limited amenities but is full of character and the pool at the back with a small courtyard is delightful. Rooms were fine if a little small... More

Wife and I went to NO for the weekend. Fantastic location, right in the middle of everything. Right in the heart of the French Quarter, couple minute walk to Canal Street. The staff was very nice, and the building is very, very old, with a small brick courtyard and small pool, though it was too cool to get in it... More

Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
