The hotel is friendly and has a Melrose place feel. The staff was extremely friendly. The only thing missing is a vending/soda machine, but that is the only negative thing I could come up with, which is not a big deal.

The location is super close to everything in the quarter, downtown, and Frenchman St! Walking distance to food, live music, the French Market, and more! Having access to the pool 24/7 was great during the super hot and humid days and nights!

I just made reservations for a visit to New Orleans in September. I spoke with Jennifer at the front desk and she was awesome. She was very informative, friendly, patient and helpful. I appreciate her hospitality and how knowledgeable she is about the properties. Thank you for being so great, Jennifer! Looking forward to meeting you!

Location is fantastic!! Parking is awful. Very disappointing. Sent to a PUBLIC, unsecured parking lot. Paid common rate. No discounted rate provided by hotel. Staff is pleasant. Air conditioning system is excellent!!

What they don't advertise: check-in after 4 pm (no exceptions!), $30 to park, vomit stains on the carpet, shower that leaks, algae in the pool. Don't take my word for it, take a look at the photos. On the upside: great location if you're hanging out in the quarter, but that's about it. My major qualm was that I arrived... More

We stayed 7/6/2016 -7/10/2016. We arrived early (noon) and the check in was fast and easy, the room was ready, and the desk staff was pleasant. After inspecting the room we requested one on a upper floor so we would not be close to the front lobby. The staff was accommodating and graciously changed our room. The room was larger... More

Things to consider before booking a room here: no elevator or gym BUT excellent staff (Joy was a joy to deal with), good rooms, and location's proximity to French quarter area is a plus. **Before you book a balcony room please read this review. We had two rooms with balconies on Chartres. The balconies were nice but view straight ahead... More

Hotel was great! Breakfast was very basic but it was enough. The staff puts out cereal boxes, muffins, croissants, fruit, granola, yogurt, coffee and tea. The room was not as small as i expected it to be from reviews I read. The bed was not the most comfortable bed but it was fine. Staff was great. The pool is pretty... More

It's location is great, close enough to everything without the crowds of Bourbon street. Cute pool that's open 24/7. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They carried our luggage, called cabs for us, anything. The suites with the balconies facing the street are spacious and you can see the cathedral from the balcony. Would highly recommend this hotel! Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
