This was our first trip to New Orleans in a while. We knew the area was suffering a bit with how COVID hit the economy, but we still had an amazing weekend. We booked the AC Hotel because of the great rates, and still had excellent attention throughout our stay. Even though we didn't have daily housekeeping, the staff were very helpful and able to provide fresh towels, extras as needed! The front desk were friendly and always recognized us. The breakfast items were surprisingly good. Would definitely stay again, especially bc of the great location!

I visit New Orleans about every two years, just to experience the unique city that it is. The AC Hotel is new and fresh with trendy decor. My room (704) had high ceilings and was clean and inviting. The coffee was high end, and having chilled water as you enter the room was a plus. The Front Desk Staff were amazing. Friendly, helpful and always extending a greeting with a smile. In this day of Covid, hotel services are not back to 100%. As that is not a fault of the Hotel, I’m discounting it. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely consider staying again if back in NO.

Thermostat clicked on and off every 3 minutes. Rooms were small, shower door would not shut, house keeping did not service our room but the cart was in the hallway for the duration of our stay, Sheetrock dust all over the walls, especially from the top of the door to the high ceiling. Room 307 Front desk attendants spoke every time we entered the building, Lobby was neat and clean and decorated nicely

While they had social distancing measures in place in the lobby, the room had zero evidence they did anything at all special to keep it clean. Also, the shower handle was broken. We only had supplies for one day even though the stay was for two days. Never once mentioned anything about me being an elite loyal program member and charged me $40 for valet on an $80 room. Left me with a bad taste.

My boyfriend and I stayed from the 13th to the 16th of August. We both work for an AC in Miami Beach and to tell you we had a wonderful experience with the staff would be an understatement. Before arrival, I spoke to Jim ( b & f supervisor ) on the phone asking if it was possible for me to deliver decorations and for the staff to put it in the room. Not only was he very communicative throughout all of it, he completely exceeded expectations. I had the pleasure of meeting him and Brooke in person upon my arrival. Not only did they provide me an early check in which was absolutely wonderful. They decorated the room beautifully and exceptionally. Brooke did a wonderful job. Not only that, but Jim provided both my boyfriend and I with complimentary breakfast and an upgraded room. Throughout my stay, I was consistently greeted by all staff. Jim, Brooke and Ashley took wonderful care and answered all my questions about recommendations for restaurants and things to do. The day before I had to go, I asked if I could receive a late check out and they granted me until 4 pm which I was over the moon about because I had a later flight at 6 pm. I didn’t even ask for that time and they granted it with such ease because I completely understand as I’m currently working right now. The day that I was departing, in the morning I received the worst news that my grandma had passed away. I am so grateful that the staff was so kind the previous night before and that I didn’t have to ask that morning as I was a wreck and wouldn’t have been able to carry on a conversation. Truly what made the stay wonderful was the staff. Especially with these hard times, their personality is what made it truly great and helpful. Jim and Brooke were truly and absolutely wonderful. The team is lucky to have staff with such enthusiasm and willing to help. The attention to detail Brooke took to decorate the room was the essence of the AC brand. The personable attitude Jim had is what Marriott and hospitality industry strives for. Thank you all for the wonderful stay and I will be staying again when I travel back. I have already recommended this property to multiple people.
