This is a nice high-rise hotel in the convention district. It has a Starbucks. We enjoyed the use of the M club for breakfast, afternoon snacks and desserts. The outstanding experience we had is largely due to the excellent staff. From the bellhops, To the valets, to the check-in people, to the m club staff, everyone was friendly and accommodating. The concierge, Rhoda, was particularly knowledgeable about New Orleans culture, museums, and music venues. She was able to tailor her advice to our interests and tastes. She helped us enjoy the city as well as our stay at the hotel

This is a very nice Marriott with a new feel and nice decor in the lobby, including the bar and dining area. It is a very comfortable place to meet and have a drink, and we found our rooms to be comfortable as well. Not quite five-star, but the hotel doesn't purport to be that. The room had some silly quirks: (1) it was hard to open the curtains because there was a long chaise longue in the way; (2) there was a full-length mirror opposite the bed, so I couldn't lie in the bed without looking at myself, which was disconcerting; (3) the reading lights were way too bright, and they reflected off the mirror on the far wall so the light was directly in my eye; and (4) the towel service was uneven. Also significant is that we had adjoining rooms, and at least in that situation, the walls (or perhaps the doors) are paper thin Minor points, to be sure, but they certainly keep the hotel from getting a 5. On the plus side, in addition to the great look and feel of the hotel, is that it's very centrally located - across from the Riverwalk mall and an easy walk or Uber to the French quarter. The neighborhood can get a tad desolate at night, but we didn't have any problems. Last point: the pool, at least in the winter, is lousy. It's small and the hotel doesn't even try to heat it. It was frigid and completely unappealing. All in all, I would stay here again, though it would be great if they would remedy some of the quirks.

Here for a conference, the Renaissance is convenient to the convention center, and close to many great restaurants. Rooms are nice, with enough plugs to make modern requirements met. Service was good. Breakfast restaurant was a bit understaffed, but that's a common problem in NOLA right now so no fault found there.

Jimmy at the Valet was very nice, he saw me standing outside and started a conversation I expressed to him the types of foods I was looking for and suggested quite a few places close in proximity that sounded amazing

New Orleans is a city I frequently visit. Stayed at almost all marriott properties in town, this hotel really tops others. First of all, the service, Omar and others at the front desk really take care of their guests, especially elite members. We arrived 7/31, right after a convention, the hotel has few guests. Breakfast was shutting down, Bar was closed until 3p, and the M Club is not open at all. It's Covid time. But they offered Platinum elite members breakfast at the hotel Starbucks, evening snacks at the hotel bar and water upon request. They did their best. The hotel is across street from Riverwalk shopping mall, we walked along the river to Jackson Square. It's a nice half hour walk. The room was well maintained. The suite is large. The pool is decent size and it was open. Compare to many other hotels in the area, this hotel seems newer, cleaner and quieter. BTW the beignets and hot wings at the bar are excellent. And the lady at the bar, she just started her job, dont know her name, but she's so helpful and sweet. Marriott Warehouse District is a good place to stay for business and vacation. I strongly recommand.
