WE booked here to stay after our cruise for 4 nights. We were getting married during that time & staying here was perfect. The room was spacious but cozy & the hot tub was great. The bathtub was wonderful for a long soak. Kelly even brought a bottle of champagne to celebrate. It's close to everything & will definitely be...

I normally don't write reviews, but this place was special. Stayed in the Bollywood suite and it was gorgeous! Very spacious room and the private cabana area in the back....awesome! Was there with friends on both sides of a couples cruise. I will definitely stay again. The owners are just so sweet and their dog Percy is just fantastic. Looking...

I'd rather not tell anyone how much I loved this place because I don't want it to become popular and overpriced, or booked when I want to book it! Its been almost two weeks since we were there, and I still miss it! I want to live there!

So I'm torn between my selfishness and whatever word is the opposite, because I really want this place to stay under the radar. However, I owe it to the owners of this exotic Bywater sapphire to shine on a light on it. They asked me to. I shall oblige. There's a saltwater pool and jacuzzi out the back, theres a...

We have stayed in 4 times over the past few years when we came to visit our son and his wife. The Lookout is away from the tourist areas but that is more than made up for in the rates. They have a nice year round pool and cabana. Each room has a different decoration theme, such as the Elvis...

This place looked enticing from reviews and photos and I'm so glad we gave it a try. We had the Mardi Gras suite and it was spotless, enormous and richly and eclectically decorated. Staying in Faubourg Marigny & Bywater

Neighborhood Profile
Faubourg Marigny & Bywater
Nestled between the French Quarter and the Ninth Ward, the Faubourg Marigny & Bywater environs are largely residential. Of course, folks around here love to go out and have a good time as much as they do anywhere in NOLA. And if out-of-towners want to join in the festivities, well then so much the better! Home to some of the most revered live music venues in New Orleans, an eclectic gaggle of gourmand dining destinations, and a come-as-you-are vibe that’s as infectious as it is alluring, this is real deal New Orleans oozing with southern hospitality and the promise of a most epic night out. For endless opportunities to boogie, to admire row upon row of lovingly restored homes, and to escape the fray of the more touristic parts of town (but still live it up in grand style) head to Faubourg Marigny & Bywater.
