I have stayed at many hotels and bed and breakfast in New Orleans. This place is awesome. The hotel has history but has been updated in all areas needed to make you feel the comforts of home and the cool feeling of being in a historical building. It's so close to bourbon and the casino along with pjs coffee shop....

Unique old warehouse building. Helpful, friendly staff. Within walking distance of major attractions. Comfortable rooms. Great restaurants close by. Reasonable valet parking rates. Comp breakfast is your standard "comp" breakfast. Staff was great at pointing out local spots. I will return.

We stayed here in November for the Saints VS. Ravens game and it was perfect! (Even though the Saints lost) We still had a wonderful experience staying here. It was within walking distance to Bourbon Street and the Stadium. We parked our car in Valet for $15/day (I think?) I don't remember but it was in a secured location. When...

Great hearing that you had an awesome stay (even if the Saints couldnt make it a perfect stay!). I appreciate you sharing the feedback and hopefully you get to return soon for a win!

Very close to everything. Situated on Magazine between Poydras and Canal it is right between the Warehouse District and French Quarter. Good prices compared to others nearby. Interesting 19th century building with preserved history as a old bitters liquor warehouse. Would stay again. Don't stay here if you like a super quiet room, but good luck with that in NOLA.

The Country Inn & Suites on 315 Magazine St. is just outside the French Quarter with easy access to all French Quarter attractions. There are also a couple of amazing restaurants within easy walking distance, most notably "Mothers" just a block down on Poydras St.; notable because of both the excellent food and local feel. Service at the desk is...

we stayed here using miles. It was a busy weekend hence all hotels were fully booked. The first room was on the ground floor, it was nice, clean and big, but on street level. The day after we upgraded to a suite, which we didn't like as there were no windows. The last night we stayed on the 4th floor...

Spacious rooms, close to many attractions and wonderful hospitality. Really liked the livingroom feel of the lobby along with the complimentary cookies, water and mints. We would stay at this hotel again in the future.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
