I have stayed in New Orleans for over 40 years. I usually stay at one particular Hotel. I heard about this Hotel and wanted to give it a try. This is no doubt the nicest Hotel I have ever stayed in New Orleans. The staff...More
This hotel is now operated by Hyatt and was freshly renovated and reopened just a month or so ago. I stayed in a room with a window to the street out front, and couldn’t have been more happy with the room. I entered into a...More

Thank you for your review. We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay with us and found the room to be quiet even though it was on the second floor overlooking Magazine Street. Those suites are beautiful and really show the character of our...More
My wife and I just checked out of the Eliza Jane and we can wholeheartedly recommend it. An elegant and stylish hotel full of quirks and character features in a great location. It’s walking distance to many great bars and restaurants but tucked away around...More
The Eliza Jane by Hyatt offers excellent service, great location and has a beautiful charm! Well done interiors and extremely clean and well done rooms! Totally recommend this place. It was a great value for money and would definitely stay here if we visit next.

Beautiful place and newly renovated. Great bar area. Rooms were spacious and incredibly quiet. Never felt like I was in a big city. Access to transportation was simple and convenient. Location between Canal and Poydras left you able to go anywhere at anytime within a...More
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts
District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.

Sadly, the pool was removed when the building was expanded to add 50 rooms to the hotel during our renovation. As of right now, we don't have photos uploaded, but the courtyard has a ton of comfortable seating with a fountain, gas lamps and a pergola. We hope to have photos taken soon!
The hotel is located at 315 Magazine Street, which is 3 blocks from the French Quarter in the Central Business District. We are within 10 blocks of Jackson Square, the Audubon Aquarium and other museums and tons of shopping.
