Tucked into the mid-19th-century Central Business District, The Eliza Jane is located just two blocks from the French Quarter and a 10-minute drive from the Garden District, offering you a charming oasis near top New Orleans neighborhoods. This 196-room boutique hotel is built within nine historic warehouses that stand distinct on the outside, but have been united inside to create sizable accommodations in addition to a 2,000 square-foot open-air interior garden courtyard. Inspired by the historic uses of the buildings, the design references each of its original occupants: The Daily Picayune newspaper, as well as Gulf Baking Soda company, Peters Cartridge shop, and Peychaud Bitters factory. The hotel’s accommodations and amenities include fifty suites, including twelve Signature Suites, a fitness center, garden courtyard and beverage offerings, which features a locally-inspired lobby bar, The Press Room.

Taylor and Matt at check-in and check out at the front desk were absolutely amazing! They made us feel so comfortable and they both made it clear that they were delighted to have us gave us a warm welcome and send-off. We were greeted every time we entered and exited the hotel. I felt so valued and can't wait to come back and stay there. From now on anytime I go to New Orleans I will stay at the Eliza Jane. Best experience ever. Perfect location -- close enough to the action but not too intense and right on Canal. Close to Sazerac House too!

I adore everything about the property. The owners did a great job in building this property. The interior is beautiful with exposed brick throughout. Very friendly staff. We were upgraded to a fabulous suite with a gorgeous bathroom that had a sunken tub. Very well kept and clean property. The location is great. A short walk to the French Quarter and to all the nice restaurants in the Warehouse District

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful modern chic hotel in New Orleans. If you don't want to stay in a hotel that could be haunted in the French Quarter, I'd highly recommend The Eliza Jane. We got a really nice and roomy 1 bedroom suite that had 2 queens and 1 sofa sleeper with a view of Magazine street. Looks like the whole hotel was renovated recently as shown by the interior decor. The entire downstairs has many nice sitting areas (though they are lonely spaces right now due to the Covid-19 pandemic). We felt very safe there as you would need to either be buzzed in or have a room card upon entry into the hotel. There was hand sanitizer throughout the hotel as well. Service was excellent as the staff was friendly. Vibe here is great. Felt like we were staying in a swanky, modern boutique hotel in Seattle, San Francisco, or LA. We all slept well, even through all the ghost stories we heard and dining at the infamous Muriel's. Lastly, can't beat the excellent location as it's walking distance to the main highlights of New Orleans. Highly recommended!

Was traveling through New Orleans and found the Eliza Jane via Hyatt, looked beautiful and interesting with a local history and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice. Traveling during covid, the excellent team here really did a great job or keeping things safe while also providing a great experience, all things considered. The evening front desk receptionist provided us with tailored recommendations based on what was open and our interests so we were able to check things out despite the health situation, and Byron was a lifesaver, helping get my bike rack properly attached to my car for a long drive again. Beautiful hotel, good location with the ability to walk anywhere while still being able to get some sleep, and a nice room upgrade on top of it. Hope to come back during normal times and enjoy the great bar and restaurant scene we imagined!
