Absolutely loved this hotel. Great rooms, stunning courtyard with nice bar located in lobby. Even with it being right off of bourbon street, we heard absolutely no noise. My only complaint is the wifi.

I chose sonder for the location in the French quarter. The location was good. The bed was comfortable. The hotel was really lacking. This hotel is air b&b styled, without the friendly host family or access to any kitchen/ fridge/ microwave/ ice machine. There is a hotel bar, but it was closed, and I learned later that the space was rented by a third party/ not available to hotel guests. Before arriving I understood that there was no hotel staff, but I didn’t expect such a bare bones establishment. Also there was no place to store bags before/after check out, and the recommended storage (luggage hero) had been closed for more than a year. I contacted sonder through the app about these questions, and was given generic answers but no real help. Sonder was the same price as nearby, well known hotel chains, and for the money I wish we would have stayed there. If I wanted this type of experience, I would have gotten better value at a hostel.

Perfect location for a great price right in the middle of the french quarter. Cant do better than this hotel for location. The room was great, clean, and comfortable. I get what people mean about the shower floor being really wet but we just put down one of the towels near the sink and toilet. I also lowered the shower curtain to prevent it from getting too wet. And then I put it back up where it was when we left. The bed, bedding, and blanket was all comfortable. TV with chromecast was easy to understand. Overall good hotel to stay at if you want to be in the quarter and close to everything. Just a street away from bourbon street. Nice private courtyard. On weekends it gets a little busy because there is a bar in the hotel that it open on the weekends. But I didnt mind that at all. Also I never worried too much about security. We were careful about locking our door. Weekdays no one that is not staying in the hotel has access into the hotel because the alley entrance is locked and the bar is closed and you need a access code to get into the hotel. Anyways it was a great vacation.

This room is fantastically located to all the activities in the Quarter. The decor and room itself was perfect. It would have gotten 5 stars except there were a few things that could be improved. Check in process was easy and convenient with one exception, there were no signs directing where from the entryway our room was located. Doesn’t sound like a big deal but these properties in the quarter can be like mazes and we had to search around and through the court yard to find our room. Bathroom shower needed a curtain or something. It was all open and rather small so everything in the bathroom got wet while showering including the toilet, the toilet paper, and worst of all was the floor. And the floor took all day to dry so it was kind of inconvenient. The last two minor issues we had were we were only given two towels. More towels would have helped especially since we had to keep mopping the bathroom floor with one due to the problem described above. And lastly it would have been nice to have access to a broom. After 3 days of in and out, the beautiful wood floor needed a good sweeping and we couldn’t so again we had to use a damp towel. Oh yeah a coffee pot would have been a nice addition too. Overall this property did not disappoint. It was perfectly located, the bed was super comfy, and had a lot of that French quarter charm. We would definitely stay again.

There is no TV, no concierge, no safe, no on site service of any type. We waited 12 hours for a handyman to address items in the room. The room had not been swept or mopped and the floor was sticky. I do not recommend. Location was ideal, but that can be found with any of twenty hotels in NOLA.
