The Hilton is in a great spot. Not far to walk to the French Quarter. Rooms are relatively large and very comfortable. Beds are lovely. A small restaurant downstairs that serves a good $14.95 breakfast if you do not want to go out early in the morning and a pretty good menu for dinner. Staff are friendly and helpful. Overall...

Hotel was close enough to the French Quarter for an easy walk, but far enough removed to not be in the middle of the action. It was in a quiet location and was easy to get around the city from here. The staff was very attentive and helpful with dining suggestions and other information.

This location is nice and clean. Good location about two blocks from Canal St. So it's away from the noise. The pool was clean and not packed. Check in/ check out and parking was a breeze. The room was good size and had a refrigerator and microwave.

The staff was amazing, April was the best bartender ever very attentive and friendly! I was very impressed at the hotel as a whole, this is definitely not your typical Hilton Garden Inn. It's close to so many things that we walked everywhere or took the trolley that has a stop a block away.

So as others have said this is a nice HIlton Garden Inn with the lobby on the 11th Floor and the rooms above. There is construction around the hotel so some rooms are noisy (I had to move to an interior room). Staff was fine and helpful, rooftop very nice though pool is tiny but nice views. I got a...

The hotel itself is very clean and well maintained, beds were very comfortable and everything worked well including the TV, safe, refrigerator and so on. The staff were all very helpful, friendly and focused on the guests. Downside is that there are additional costs for parking (but it is New Orleans) and the pool is small but it is a...

Nice hotel to stay in while visiting NOLA. It's away from the French quarters but close enough to walk to~5min walk to Bourbon St. Nearby grocery stores & numerous restaurants. The room was nice & clean and larger than expected, probably from the high ceiling. Microwave & mini-fridge, perfect for late night munchies of left overs from all the yummy...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
