I'll keep it short and sweet. Easy check-in. Clean room. Fridge in room. Friendly and helpful staff. HOT coffee. Great location. Just across Canal Street to The Quarter. Convenience store on the corner. Next door to The Ruby Slipper. Free use of computer and printer. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is in an excellent location. Steps away from Canal St. There's also a store on the corner. Check in was easy and the front desk staff is amazing. The room was a little small for two adults. The bathroom was very tight and no counter space. My room didn't have a window (which I was advised of) so...

I have to say that I was expecting a rather boring chain hotel sort of stay from this 'best western' hotel. I was very pleased with the friendly service from the moment I arrived to check in. The morning continental breakfast was not the highlight of this stay, but I was grateful to have a good cup of coffee and...

Staff, from front desk to breakfast staff to maintenance to valet all were extremely polite and very, very helpful. would like to have had the room made up much earlier than 5:00 pm though. Cold water is warm, but always plenty of hot water for shower and bath. Great location.

Price for valet parking is ridiculous. NO internet access - there appears to be no one on the property that can address the problem. I can't believe that we were the only guest that could not access the internet.

I can honestly say I am disgusted with this hotel. When I was there I thought it was in a good location and a good breakfast. Until we have had our jacket stolen from our room. All their documentation of lost clothing was wrong including our room number and items and the house keeping had tried to cover it up....

This hotel is ideally situated near the corner of Canal St. and Magazine, just outside the French Quarter. The location is fairly quiet at night, but is an easy walk to most sights. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the rooms are in good condition and well appointed, with chic exposed brick walls. Not your average Best Western....

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
