I stayed here Sunday, August 21, 2016 - Tuesday, August 23, 2016. I found this place accidentally two years ago when I was looking for a hotel post cruise. I chose this place because of the FREE USE of Washers & Dryers. If you're on a cruise of the the Port of New Orleans, I highly recommend that you take... More

Of all the hotels on my trip, this was my favorite. The rooms are large and have a kitchenette if you feel like a home cooked meal on an extended vacation. There are 3 guest laundry rooms which come in handy. The location of the hotel is not far from the French Quarter, but far enough away from noise if... More

Loved everything about this hotel. The location is superb, close enough to the French quarter and Bourbon Street yet far enough to get a good night's sleep. Rooms were big and spacious, staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast is provided each morning and even though it is not the biggest selection it was definitely enough to get your day started.... Conveniently located, pretty well maintained except I didn't like the clarity of the pool water. Comfortable bedding and thick towels. They do have indoor parking (additional cost), which is not ideal nor guaranteed. Stayed in a 2 bedroom unit, loved the fact there were (2) bathrooms. Not overly expensive. Continental breakfasts were standard fair. Plenty of coffee pots going, which... More

Loved this location! The parking garage isn't ideal, but the rest of the hotel is! We loved the artwork throughout the hotel and in the rooms. The room had a nice kitche. With bar seats, pull out couch, and separate bedroom with attached bathroom. A lot of space and amenities for the price. Breakfast was very good on Friday morning,... More

I have stayed in multiple Staybridge Suites and multiple hotels in New Orleans. Of the approximately 5 Staybridge Suites I remember staying in, I liked this one least. Of the 3 New Orleans hotels I've stayed in, I like this one least. Having said that, it is not a terrible hotel. It just isn't doesn't measure up to my previous... More

Loved this place. One of our favourites while traveling the USA. Plenty of room. Comfy beds and pillows. Window view from floor up. Hot and cold buffet Breaky is complimentary and coffee available all day. So close to Main Street and Bourbon St. Short walk to Riverwalk shopping outlets. You are away from the hustle and bustle but close enough... More

While it is not in the heart of the night life of the French Quarter, it is still a good location. We had to walk several blocks just to get to the activities of the Festival, but we were not opposed to a fair amount of exercise. It did make it difficult to come back to your hotel for a... More

This was my first time visiting NOLA. It was a girls trip and we were excited. Getting to the hotel we hopped a cab. It cost $15 dollars a person to get from the airport. Trip was maybe 20 min. We flew in on an early flight so no traffic issues. Staybridges is a nice bright and colorful hotel. Loved... More

The Staybridge was a nice spot walking distance to Bourbon Street and the Riverwalk. The rooms were very clean and spacious. My only complaint with the hotel is my room was cleaned by the service department the next day. Although I am a very clean person you still would like to have a made bed once you come back from... Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
