Exceptionally clean, with very warm hosts who provided many more thoughtful touches (ie. earplugs, foot-soothing epsom/eucalyptus bath salts, useful phone numbers and travel brochures, great eating recommendations) than any 5 star hotel would. Relaxing backyard to enjoy the beautiful fall weather, 24-hour snacks in a...More

Halloween is best in the Voodoo capital of the USA. I have stayed at the Cresent City guest house 2 times and it's perfect! 4 separate rooms to pick from, we booked the entire places for 4 couples. It's the only place I'll stay now.

What can I say, everything was just great. Old beautiful house, interesting neighborhood, unbelievably good and friendly service, clean rooms with nice decoration. They really want us to enjoy and we did.

Faubourg Marigny & Bywater
Nestled between the French Quarter and the Ninth Ward,
the Faubourg Marigny & Bywater environs are largely
residential. Of course, folks around here love to go
out and have a good time as much as they do anywhere
in NOLA. And if out-of-towners want to join in the
festivities, well then so much the better! Home to
some of the most revered live music venues in New
Orleans, an eclectic gaggle of gourmand dining
