Great place to stay, relax a or party. Big rooms, updated bathrooms, full kitchen, NOLA S/W style. Rear private courtyard to relax in, dine or have happy hours. Walk around the corner and you are on Frenchman Street, the clubs, the music and the food. Great place for friends or family. Highly recommended.

We loved this place. We were a group of 12 that stayed here back in Novemeber for my wife's birthday. The location was perfect, Connie was so helpful, and Halle Berry the dog was very inviting. The house had that NOLA charm that we were looking for as an alternative to a conventional hotel. We plan on staying at this...

Casa Conchita B&B is the perfect place to stay in the heart of New Orleans! It's right on the edge of the French Quarter across from a park and is the perfect setting for a few days in this wonderful city. I stayed there with a group of friend for my 30th birthday nearly a decade ago and can't wait...

Three of my girlfriends and I had a perfect stay here for my 40th birthday weekend. The home is half a block from awesome Frenchman Street, where we went at night for wonderful food and live music. Although nightlife was not far away, the property is quiet, and you don't hear anything once in the compound. We stayed in Unit...

I must say, I think it's criminal that anyone stays in a hotel in New Orleans. Why would you, with a million historic properties, charming B&Bs, and vacation rentals like this one available? My boyfriend and I just got back from a wonderful weekend in New Orleans, and Casa Conchita was the best part of our stay. Perfectly appointed house,...

We just returned home from our 20th year of vacationing at Casa Conchita. The location off Frenchman is perfect and the house is beautiful. We love this end of the quarter because of all the various music venues and great places to eat. Connie Walker, the owner, lives on site and is very friendly and helpful. I have rented various...

We had a seamless, wonderful time at Casa Conchita, from initial inquiry to check-out. We received a response to our initial inquiry within 24 hours and received very clear, easy instructions about the entire process. The house itself is simply beautiful, charming, and cozy - real Cyprus throughout and each room well-appointed, yet very simply tasteful. We were right on...

Staying in Faubourg Marigny & Bywater

Neighborhood Profile
Faubourg Marigny & Bywater
Nestled between the French Quarter and the Ninth Ward, the Faubourg Marigny & Bywater environs are largely residential. Of course, folks around here love to go out and have a good time as much as they do anywhere in NOLA. And if out-of-towners want to join in the festivities, well then so much the better! Home to some of the most revered live music venues in New Orleans, an eclectic gaggle of gourmand dining destinations, and a come-as-you-are vibe that’s as infectious as it is alluring, this is real deal New Orleans oozing with southern hospitality and the promise of a most epic night out. For endless opportunities to boogie, to admire row upon row of lovingly restored homes, and to escape the fray of the more touristic parts of town (but still live it up in grand style) head to Faubourg Marigny & Bywater.
