The trip was great. Danny Cutno, my Host, took care of all of my arrangements for me. The rooms were good and the food was great. I had some local favorites which I really enjoyed. I won four jackpots during my visit. I look forward to my next trip.

Clean hotel with great friendly faces. Great location and close enough to everything..Wish water was included with everyday service but at $6.00 at bottle you need to stop at CVS or Walgreens to lower your cost.

Arrived on a Harrahs tour at 10:30 am and not able to get into our room until 3:30 pm. Rooms were very nice. Could have been offered something for our wait Our tour was mostly Sr. Citizens who got the plane at 5:00 am and had to wait for a room. HARRAHS TOUR

I've visited this Harrah's location several times, but this was my first visit since the entire casino went to a nono-smoking status. What a difference that made in my enjoyment of my time there. There were always plenty of affordable table games, even in the evening. My only complaint was the lack of a sit down diner or restaurant. Staff...

The room was nice, good view of the river, the beds were comfortable, the smoking area is horrible. It is outside with heat lamps. During the day the glare is so bad you can't see the screen and at night it's hard to play what you want due to so many people and so little machines. Great place to stay...

Spent a couple evening in the Casino while on a business trip. The staff was incredible friendly and nice to deal with. The casino floor is larger than it appears from the outside. I felt very safe and was a great alternative to Bourbon St.

There were 5 of us in our party that stayed there for a week and traveled the Quarter, Garden, and warehouse districts. We played in the casino 3 or 4 times during the week and enjoyed our stay very much. Harrah's is a top-notch facility with a wonderful staff.

Harrah's New Orleans accommodations were exceptional. Rooms are very nice clean and a great view. Nice living room, king size bed, bathroom was large with large garden tub. Hotel is in walking distance to anywhere you want to go.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
