We paid for a upgraded city view which consisted of overlooking a dingy parking garage. The carpets looked like they haven’t been vacuumed in weeks. Requested items to the room never arrived. Overall experience was mediocre. Would have gotten better quality and services at a motel 6!
Dirty, won't answer phone at front desk, lobby bathroom dirty, rude people and staff members of housekeeping smoking pot and Someone came in our room with dirty feet when no housekeeping were cleaning the rooms during your stay and we told the front desk and they didn't seem concerned. We drove 9 hours and very disappointed. We have stayed at many Harrahs locations and 2nd tier diamond member before covid this was the worst one.
When we arrived at Harrahs at 4:00 PM we were rudely told our room wasn’t ready. When we finally received a phone call at 6:42 PM that our room was ready we arrived to a room that smelled like an ashtray, a couch that was stained in red wine, carpet that was stained in red wine, and a tub that had vomit in it. The next day after Ivy asked us to rate our experience and my husband gave it a poor rating they switched our room. The second room was clean, didn’t smell, and didn’t have the red wine stains. On a positive note, the people that worked at the casino were extremely courteous and polite. However the highlight of our stay there was the wonderful concierge Jeff. He went above and beyond to help us out…he was absolutely wonderful and made our stay enjoyable!
First the employees were very nice and courteous. However, my room was never cleaned, not even the sheets were changed. I had to call down for clean towels and didn't receive them until the next day. It's very discouraging that when you're on vacation you have to be guest and servant. The mini fridge was caked with frozen ice and need defrosting. Because of the pandemic, the rooms should have been cleaned and sanitized.
What made this breakfast so delicious, was our histess Wendy. Her customer service was as excellent as the food served. I highly recommend thst if you visit New Orleans, pleaze stop by Daisy Maes and ask for Wendy. You will enjoy the food & service.
