There was no faulting this place. Owner was fabulous, manger was brilliant, dogs made you feel so loved and the whole atmosphere made you feel like you were at home. I have already started telling anyone who has shown interest in New Orleans that this is the place to stay. We had a fantastic local experience.

For the last several years, my wife and I hoped to attend the annual Essential Festival in New Orleans. Yet, even planning a year in advance, we have been unable to make reservations using our timeshare. New Orleans happens to be one of the most popular place to visit in the nation. Being a Louisiana native, I know that it... More

If your preconceptions of New Orleans are based on the French Quarter, O'Malleys will not match them. That may be no bad thing, given the amount of shouting and tomfoolery that goes on along Bourbon Street. O'Malleys is out in the Mid-City, the other side of I-10 and almost as far as the City Park, but a street-car stop is... More

Me and two friends took 2 rooms here for 10 nights (quite a long stay in B&B standards) and we were not disappointed. Brilliant hosts in Larry (owner) and Brent (manager), lovely house, and yummy variety of breakfasts each day. All facilities top notch, including a beer tap in the courtyard if you fancied! Larry and Brent were so helpful... More

We are so glad that we found such an affordable and perfectly located place for lodging. We were just far enough away from the hustle bustle, and just close enough to a quick hop onto the Canal street car ! The place was tranquil and relaxing, and close to eateries and a local Walgreens. We were also greeted by the... More

Larry's old house has so much history as do New Orleans. Larry loves to share stories of both. It feels like you are a friend visiting. Everything perfect - room, breakfast, DYI laundry. Best of all the tips and tricks and the chat.

The house was lovely and the manager was so very helpful. The house is close to a trolley stop which makes it easy to travel to French Quarter. The neighborhood is clean and quiet. Would go back anytime!!
