We rented the entire mansion on our daughter's wedding weekend and found Don and Sheila to be exceptional hosts who went above and beyond to make our stay effortless, calming, and elegant! The rooms are beautifully furnished, the beds are exceptionally comfortable, and the home-cooked breakfasts were delicious. We also rented an apartment in the Carriage House for our daughter...

Hubbard Mansion is an elegant, historic style home of pure elegance. All rooms are furnished with period antiques and precious heirlooms. They made us feel so at home!! Mr. Don and Ms. Shelia were the epitome of southern hospitality. Listening to his stories of building this beautiful place and overcoming the racial pushback he got doing so, was so inspiring....

The Hubbard Mansion was the perfect place to get a good night's rest, have a fabulous home-cooked breakfast, and get to know some of New Orleans' great ambassadors. Mr. Hubbard & Sheila made us feel right at home, and the opulent red canopy over our bed made us feel like royalty! We spent most of our nights on Frenchman Street,...

My family group of 14 took over the Hubbard Mansion for a family and friends reunion in New Orleans, using a graduation as the focus of our celebrations. We occupied all the rooms on the ground floor of the Hubbard, and one of the carriage house apartments. It was incredibly fun, and for all the reasons already mentioned in previous...

This place is wonderful. Although it's only a 16 year old home, it will remind you of the old mansions the south is known for. It has very beautiful and comfortable furnishings and all the amenities of a fine hotel. The St. Charles streetcar stops right in front of the mansion. You are a 10 minute ride to canal street....

We stayed at the mansion May 4 thru 7 celebrating our 25th anniversary. The owner Don was gracious and a font of information. His innkeeper, Sheila was wonderful. We stayed in the Brieon room, which had a great location. It was across from the kitchen, so in the mornings we could walk across and get our hot coffee while getting...

Stayed at the Hubbard mansion from March 29th to April 2. What a wonderful time we had. We met 2 other couples there for our 4 day stay in NOLA. We couldn't have picked a better location. If you are not that interested into the heavy late night/early morning partying, then Uptown is the place for you. This area truly...
