Dear thesircharles, Availability of a suite is automatically checked beginning 5 days before arrival and up until 2:00 PM the day before arrival at the hotel. You are slated to receive automated emails either confirming the Suite Night Award or stating that availability is still pending until one day before arrival. If a suite is not available the award is placed back in your account. While use of this benefit is not only a popular choice with loyal Bonvoy members such as yourself, it is also a decision that is automatically approved or denied above property. Our hotel has three eligible suites that we can upgrade guests to, none of which were available at the time of your recent stay. It was not the intention nor decision of the hotel to disappoint you by not awarding you a suite. We made an effort to accommodate your Bonvoy preferences by blocking you to a room on our top level, overlooking Canal St., however please allow us to extend our apology that water was not in your room prior to your arrival. Water is readily available at the front desk and upon request, should you choose to stay with us again. In regards to your breakfast, as discussed with our Front Office Manager, we are compliant with Marriott Bonvoy standards. As a Titanium Elite member you are entitled to your choice of amenities upon arrival; your reservation indicates that you opted to receive the complimentary continental breakfast as listed on the Marriott provided voucher. That said, we have directed your dissatisfaction regarding the choices offered within the continental breakfast to the restaurant management as again, it is never our intention to disappoint our members.
