This room was clean and spacious, and the best benefit--it was pet friendly. Great value and way to Uber into downtown. Check-in and check-out was quick. Lots of parking. Great stop on our travels back to Florida.

Ill keep it breif. If you are looking for a value place this is it. I have no complaints. For the price you are not going to find a better place. I had no problems and no issues. The hotel is located across the bridge and not in the city, but a 2$ ferry ride will get you into the...

I could not ask for more. great shower, perfect heat and air, very cozy bed. All was clean and appropriate. The location was excellent when you take the ferry over to the foot of canal street. Park there and walk. Algiers is lovely. Excellent value in all ways.

Very nice staff and well keep property! It was a great value and loved the kitchenette! Would stay again if visiting the city! Just a short walk to the banks of the Mississippi River where there is a jogging and walking trail.

Great location if you want easy access to downtown. The ferry is close and super convenient with crossings approx every 30mins. It's way cheaper and easier than driving into downtown. There's no restaurants or shops really close by so for that you'd really need a car but it's a great hotel with spacious rooms and friendly staff.

My family and I rented two rooms that adjoined for three nights. We were on the ground floor. We had one individual with a wheelchair and another with a walker. The restroom was a little tight as we were not in a handicapped accessible room. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The kitchenettes are fully stocked including a two-burner stove....

If you are knowledgeable about NOLA it's an easy place to stay and get around town as well. With aid from the staff and a GPS app it is the way to go. Park your car by the ferry on the street and $2 gets you downtown.

Staying in Algiers

Neighborhood Profile
Algiers
Sitting pretty across the Mississippi River from the rambunctious French Quarter, the Crescent City’s second oldest neighborhood is as historic and as scenic as any – just a lot less showy about it. With its numerous 19th and early 20th century homes and plentiful parks and riverside green space for cycling and walking, subdued and low key Algiers yields the best views of New Orleans and offers a quiet haven from the hustle and bustle in other parts of town. Most of the area’s activity, for visitors anyway, takes place at Algiers Point where the famous Canal Street / Algiers Ferry has been the main attraction since 1827 and is still giving folks one of the best rides in town at very affordable rates. Restaurants, bars and music venues here all but guarantee the utmost of authentic experiences sans any hype or high prices.
