I accidently left my watch, medicine and clothing in a drawer after checkout. I Notified staff same day. They told me the room had not yet been cleaned but there were no items left in the room. No one could find them. I don't believe any real effort was made to find the missing items. I was sent to a web site to report it. No response from the web site.
My room was clean and quiet. I had a corner room with two walls of windows and views of the city. We were in NOLA to see a concert at Champion Square. The hotel is in easy walking distance. We also walked down to Bourbon Street. We valet parked then walked where ever we wanted to go. Great hotel! This was the second time I stayed there.
The hotel accommodations were spectacular, the staff was super friendly and always helpful! The food was great and the location is perfect! Whether it's for work or for leisure, it will be a good time for sure. The pool looked amazing (didn't have a chance to use, but I got an amazing view) Must stay here!
Checking in with the app was a breeze along with getting my digital room key. The room needs updating. My view of the river was nice, but the blinds don't close completely so at night people can see into the room. there is a riverboat, the Creole Queen, that docks close to my particular room. Also, there was pink mildew along the shower door. The room is well worn and could use a refresh. Also, while there, I was never able to connect with the front desk, concierge, or valet from my room phone. It would just ring until an operator answered and then she would connect me again and it would just ring. Last, the trains. This is the worst part. All night, trains coming into the city pass right by the hotel and as you can guess, they lay on their horns on approach. Don't expect to sleep well because of the trains. You may sleep more soundly in a hospital! The valet service was good and the bar service was good too, it's a shame that the support staff were so hard to reach. And again, those trains were really bad.…
I stayed at this hotel as part of a conference. They put me in a room with TWIN beds originally. The room was very small and would not cool after 90 minutes. I eventually was able to speak with the front desk only after numerous calls and being put on hold. Food was below average at best and the general condition of the rooms was clean but very warn. I am aware this hotel sees heavy use but would expect more from a hotel in this category. I will not stay at this hotel in the future.
Nice enough overall. A few gripes are that the A/C struggled to cool the room and the pool area wasn't all that nice. Definitely don't pay extra for the Jr Executive Suite - floor plan is horrible: rooms feel small and A/C doesn't reach the bedroom area
Great Property. An incredible property. Extremely large Hyatt (conference center) with great dining options, Starbucks, convenient store, full FedEx operation and much more. Staff was very helpful and kind. Each member I walked passed said hello or asked about my day. Large lobby area with plenty of room to navigate around other guests. A lot of seating areas and small meet up sections. Location was good. Just a short couple of blocks of Canal St. There is a cable car stop right outside the main entrance to go inbound. Very convenient to take to French Quarter. My room was very comfortable, spacious and lots of lighting. Storage was subpar but I was only here for 3 days. Again, it's more geared convention/ conference travelers but I did see a few families and a lot of flight crew...so, quick stays and a storage isn't necessarily a major factor. Linens were very comfortable and soft. Mattress was soft, yet firm enough to didn't feel like you were in a taco bed. Bath linens were nice. Bathroom was slightly on the little side but I think that's because the shape of the building. Great desk space for working or writing. A nice corner chair to relax in. Overall, a very nice property that is comfortable with great staff. Oh, and one last thing: this has to be one of the most informative properties I've ever stayed at. From receiving a flyer with the week's events, dining in the area, hotel information special events in the city. You can scan QR codes and get the same info, it's on your room card. It's on displays throughout the property. …
There was a slight hiccup at check in. Parking is very expensive if you need to use the parking garage. The hotel is clean, elevators are awesome, and stay our stay was excellent. There are plenty of places to eat and the walk around town was fun. Public transport also easily available close to hotel.
Good value for the money. Food at bar needs much improvement. Need shuttle to casino. Need more help with valet parking more attendants and help answering phone when calling down from room to have car retrieved
