The rooms are clean some. Good space, very good breakfast a big number of guests so you fell amusing. Staff is very cooperative. I try the hotel resturant for dinner and it was very good and affordable price and very near to city center and it is 15 min away from conventional center.

When I arrived, I had a long line in front of me, but as they opened all the counters, the check in process was super fast! Well done! The rooms are big, very clean and comfortable. If you return to the hotel at night, I suggest to take a taxi, as there aren't a lot of people walking in that...

This hotel is next to the Superdome. I have been hearing the sound check going on for a Saints game since 0800. If you're wanting to sleep or work on business check the event schedules. The walls are thin too, we could hear the neighbor's TV. There are several bars and restaurants which are a plus. Overall I wouldn't want...

I loved this hotel for a conference. The lobby is elegant and the decor upscale. They had nice conference rooms and my room was nice enough. My room faced the atrium so I could hear the live music from the bar (it was great local jazz but I would have preferred to have a quiet room...fortunately they shut down by...

Quick visit to the bar at the Hyatt was an awful experience. The hotel was super busy and hundreds of people flocked a centrally-located bar in the hotel, only to be greeted by 2 slow bartenders. One would think management would react a bit more proactively whenever a crowd of this magnitude is frequenting your establishment. The experience was so...

Traveled to New Orleans for work for a few days. My room was on the 10th floor, city view. It's a very large hotel as the 10th floor is one of the lower floors, but acoustically it's a pleasure since the rooms, walls, and doors, must be very thick/well insulated as I rarely heard a thing going on outside when...

I stay at the Hyatt New Orleans frequently as an Entergy employee very frequently. In addition to the convenience, the hotel staff is friendly and the service top notch. The food at the restaurants and room service is excellent.

The only problems was the fire alarm went off and walk down stairs. My knees were hurt when reach the bottom of stairs, They told me it was a false alarm. I weigh 400 pounds and that a lot for a big man. My overall experience was great

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
