It's not often I stay in the conference hotel when attending an event but the rate was excellent. Staff friendly but food options really expensive. Why do need one set of elevators for floors 1,2 and 3 and another set for the other floors? What a trek to the rooms and simply no need.

Let me start with the good things, followed by the not-so-good... Location: This is THE best location for attending events at the superdome. The view from our room was fantastic! A quick walk and we were there, avoiding long lines in/out of the garage. If we attended another event, I would consider staying again for this reason. Check-in: My check-in... More

I did not stay in a room at this hotel....I was in the lobby for 4 hours. My daughter and a friend went a concert at the Superdome last night. Let me state that I do not like visiting New Orleans, and I had no idea what I would do for 5 hrs. I parked at the adjacent parking garage... More

Great welcome, helpful staff. Room is comfortable and food in restaurant good. The hotel is large which gives the opportunity of exploring to find the rest gift shop,Starbucks and a number of different restaurants, all in air conditioned areas.the elevator system is amazing. I wish more hotels would use it.

I recently stated at the Hyatt Regency in New Orleans as part of a business trip. Granted, I only stayed one night and I arrived and went right to my room; however, I noticed a few items during my short stay. First, the hotel is right next to the Superdome so if you are going to a game or concert,... More

Attended a conference at the hotel. Accommodations were great. The elevator technology was cool - swipe your room card and it scheduled the elevator and floor for you. Conference food was better than expected - really good. Starbucks in the hotel is always a plus for travelers. Great sandwich shop too. I had to get on a WebEx from my... More

Great experience...not sure why previous reviewers complained about rooms, elevator system (best in world) or food. If I go back to NOLA, I would certainly stay at this hotel. Close to all attractions, entertainment, Bourbon St, Frenchmen St., etc.

Rooms a bit dated and they can't seem to get the rugs vacuumed very well in hallways and rooms but otherwise an OK property. Nice onsite restaurants, starbucks, pool. Make sure you don't take a room where you can hear the outside fans, they are LOUD!!! Internet free but slow.

Attended a conference here and all the facilities and public areas were wonderful and the staff were friendly and helpful at all times. The rooms are exactly what you would expect, decent size, however those that overlook the main restaurant/bar area can be a little on the noisy side, and although it didn't affect my sleep ear plugs were provided.

I will start saying my stay was good and nothing bad happened, however wasn't memorable neither. The hotel is OK but just that, nothing spectacular. Rooms are decent and clean, the bathroom a bit small and not well equipped but acceptable. The common areas are very good and even the hotel is huge everything works good. Breakfast is not amazing... Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
