Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.

Very clean and modern hotel with a ton of amenities. Lots of restaurants in the hotel the staff is very friendly. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are quiet. It's about a 15 minute walk to French Quarter.

I forgot 3 dresses and 1 skirt in the closet as I didn't do a final walk through before leaving. When I called the very next day, they only found 1 dress and the skirt. Not sure where the other 2 dresses went. Both were a medium and strapless.

I stayed at the Hyatt regency for a convention, so I was out and about in the hotel. The decor was beautiful, hotel staff friendly, and I would definitely stay again. Food was pricey but that is what is expected at nice hotel.

Surprised to find the Hotel was by the Superdome and not the French Quarter. Housekeeping Didn’t dust or run a vacuum the first couple days. Day three they cleaned real good. The hotel would be fantastic if you were in town for an event at the Stadium.
