The reviews didn't lie. This is the hotel to stay if you are there for a game and/or checking out Bourbon Street without being in the midst of the French Quarters. The rooms are very nice, the staff quite attentive and accommodating. You are seriously within walking distance of everything. The Super Dome is next door. Now I will say... More

Although the layout is a little confusing, the hotel is in a great location and has lots of amenities. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. In walking distance to so many places. Will definitely return.

Our Youth Football team was invited to play at halftime of Saints preseason game. Jessica in Sales & her staff made our once in a lifetime event even better! With personal notes to our players, cookies in each room with our school's mascot. Our kids thought they were famous! Incredible attention to detail and personal touch. If your team or... More

Beds were very comfortable. Nice views. Friendly staff. Staying there again this week. Hopefully we will have the same experience. Will probably become our hotel of choice during football season. Looking forward to going back.

Nice rooms, odd elevator interface. Bar staff acceptable. Room temperature fluctuated oddly, perhaps maid reset during the day? Second floor design was one that confused my sense of direction daily. Will stay elsewhere when returning to NOLO.

Had to change rooms first night, stuck in north tower on 11th floor even though I did online check in and requested an upgrade which I would have paid for. Hall had room open with an electrical cord running into the walkway, there was a mound of laundry and a pile of garbage in the hallway which stayed there from... More

Great location with the streetcar outside, easy access to Bourbon Street, Superdome, and WW2 Museum. The guest rooms were super clean, crisp, and cool. A good relief from the summer humidity. Be sure to try Bourgnes restaurant on-site during happy hour. Great pricing.

We were blown away at just how beautiful this place is. The elevators are a lil tricky at first but once you figure it out its fine. We were in town for a concert at the Smooth King Center and couldn't get any closer if we tried. Literally on the doorsteps to the Superdome and Smoothie Center is right next... More

We stayed at this hotel for a conference and loved the experience provided by this staff. Hotel room was very quiet and clean. Upon checking in we were greeted by a friendly staff that wanted to make sure we had a great experience. The food during the conference has been above expectations. Highly recommend this hotel for meetings or a... More

Got a fantastic price on this place. Very updated and pretty darn nice! I think I heard it was 27 floors with about 1200 rooms. Right next to the Superdome as well as across the street from a Trolley stop which we used a lot. Great happy hour at the Sushi bar with $3.00 rolls. Staff was wonderful and plenty... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
