I stay there with my husband for our first year anniversary after getting married in new orleans. We booked this hotel like 3 months in advance. The first thing I noticed when I went to the bathroom, was a towel with 3 or 4 long black hairs and hair over the sink/cabinet area. We told the receptionist, but she didn't apologize...

Hotel is a decent find in a great location. It is located off of Canal and Bourbon street so you have easy access to local transportation as well as being in walking distance of all of the Bourbon street festivities. The hotel is clean and neat. My biggest issue was that the housekeeping staff sometimes forgets to come turn down...

Spent three bites. Rooms were clean although hard to find. Ice machine on our floor was out but adjacent floor was okay. Many good restaurants in the same block. No need for a car. Checking was slow due to too few personnel.

We were in town for a weekend, and chose this hotel due to it's location (close to Bourbon - actually on Bourbon!) and we got a good price. Our room was spacious and clean, no complaints. We arrived at 12:30 (check in is 3 or 4) so they held our bags and then called me at 1:45 to say our...

Overall good location and pleasant stay. When we arrived we were directed to a parking garage behind the hotel which was in no way connected. It was expensive and we were not offered any assistance with luggage by the bellman, merely directed to garage. Then we had to carry our bags around the building down Bourbon Street, which is not...

Can't say enough good about this hotel. Rooms were great. Staff was amazing and the location was perfect. Right at the beginning of Bourbon Street. Could walk to everything I wanted to do and awesome restaurants, but don't miss the Bourbon House Restaurant attached to the hotel, it was great. I will definitely be staying here on my next visit.

So I actually enjoyed my stay here, we did come around dead season so it wasn't overcrowded. The entrance and lobby area is beautifully lit, modern and very clean. We stayed on the 13th floor, the rooms was nice, my big concerns are always the beds...and this bed was a great sleep. I give it a thumbs up...lol.no complaints. The...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
