I have had a great experience! The staff is so nice. The free breakfast is good and those ladies serving breakfast are all nice too. I had packages delivered and the front desk staff let me know when it arrived.

Hello Mr./Ms. Micknb, I would like to begin by apologizing for the inconveniences you experienced at our hotel. I can certainly understand the frustration of having to switch rooms in the middle of the night because of the leak. Here at Springhill Suites, we strive to create a memorable experience for you and we have fallen short on that. I...

Very clean, affordable hotel. It is centrally located near the convention center and walking distance from the World War II Museum, Harrah's and the Quarter. The staff was very helpful and friendly, plenty of breakfast items and the coffee was great. A very spacious sitting area with a sofa, table, chair, and a wet bar and a desk and chair...

I stayed here with a friend for a convention. Greeted immediately when we entered the lobby, but that's pretty much when customer service stopped. Second night it rained hard, so much so that the rain was leaking through our ceiling, prompting us to relocate in the middle of the night. No apologies or service recovery of any type. As a...

Dear 2am Evacuation, I am aware of this issue during your stay and I did ask that a member of my team contact you later in the day to offer compensation for the inconveince. I also had a second person contact your room on the day of your checkout to follow up with you. She left a message that morning....

I was on a guided bus tour, so I didn't choose this facility. It is centrally located near the convention center and walking distance from the World War II Museum and the river. The staff was very helpful and friendly, breakfast was bountiful. The room, tho, was strangely arranged. There was a spacious sitting area with a sofa, table, chair,...

Dear Phyllis K, I first want to thank you for staying with us. It was a wise choice by you to make the World War II Mueseum one of your stops while here. It is my favorite location in the entire city. Just so you know our hotel is built in an historical building that used to be a warehouse...

Came down to New Orleans on a motor coach with 55 people aboard.First time coming to New Orleans so everyone was kind of nervous. Once we found the hotel we were pleasantly surprised at the way we were greeted and made welcome as soon as we pulled up. Everyone treated us wonderfully from the people at the desk to the...

Very pleasant hotel staff. Nice size rooms. Good internet, decent beds. Breakfast was not so great but was free. Good location. Easy walking distance to Harrah's and Canal St. About a mile to the french Quarter.

The Springhill Suites in the Warehouse District is a very nice hotel and in a great location if you want to be near the Convention Center or a little further away from the craziness of Bourbon Street. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast is the typical morning fare. It is a pity that the Marriott chain doesn't have...

2 blocks to convention center - an easy walk, and I was in NOLA for a meeting. Having read previous reviews on TripAdvisor, my go to place for travel rec's, I asked for a room facing the interior courtyard. Staff at front desk was pleasant. Was given one on 2nd floor which actually had a door opening into the courtyard...

Having stayed at various hotels in the Crescent City, I chose this hotel because I was attending jazz fest and sharing the room and others in our group had a room here as well. We arrived to a clean room that was generic in dated decor that most SpringHill Suites have. My experience tells me that rooms in New Orleans...

Dear Scarpa1977, We added new 42 inch TV's a year or so ago in the hopes that this would be a better option than the 32 Inch TV's we've had in the past. The new TV's are so large that it is difficult to tilt them so that they can be viewed from the bed. We are able to move...

Staying in Arts District / Warehouse District

Neighborhood Profile
Arts District / Warehouse District
Once a thriving industrial zone, today this district is home to a buzzing arts scene with an amazing assortment of galleries, boutiques, and studios having moved in and set up shop throughout the disused warehouses for which the area is so well known. Much of the art you'll come across here is local in scope, ownership and inspiration. However, among the many old brick warehouses are modern structures of steel and glass housing large-scale cultural institutions of national prominence such as the National World War II Museum, the Contemporary Arts Center, and the Ogden Museum of Southern Art. Just as eye catching as what’s on view inside the galleries and museums is the chance to see your ship come in at the Julia Street Cruise Terminal, which serves as a wistful reminder of the city’s historic maritime prominence.
