Personally I hate valet parking because I've found personal items in my rental car that were not mine. Also the fact that it is ridiculously priced. But my main problem with this hotel is that when I dropped off my car off the valet guy told me where to drop off my bags since my flight was not until 6pm.... More

Dear RQ-Traveler12, thanks for taking time to share your recent experience. I am glad to learn from your review title that you like the location of the hotel and were satisfied with your room. I am discouraged to learn the details of the interactions you describe with one of the valet parking attendants and/or one of the hotel bellmen who... More

Less than 2 blocks from Bourbon street. You can walk to bourbon, get drunk and no need a taxi.. if you like to walk you also can go to the Harrahs. Rooms are nice and big. The pool is 24 hrs open. Great hotel.

Sooooo close to Bourbon St. and the French Quarter. We were able to walk to Jackson Square as well. The room service was excellent. The hotel looked very nice. The bar downstairs was top notch. The place was clean and the staff was always willing to help and they were very friendly. We didn't interact with them much because everything... More

Nice rooms, larger than most. Staff was extremely helpful and made our stay very pleasant. Was disappointed with how small gym and pool were. There is a lot of construction across the street so it was a little noisy early in the morning.

We stayed here recently for a long weekend. The hotel does have some great positives to it. The location is great- only two blocks from the Bourbon Street and the French Quarter, a block away from a trolley stop, and walking distance to pretty much anywhere in the city. The hotel and rooms were clean and comfortable. I must say,... More

We were given a queen room (with free internet) because they were out of King rooms. The walls were very thin. We heard noise from surrounding rooms. There was also a church bell that rang every 15 minutes. The hotel was not among one of my favorites. The hotel restaurant closed really early. The bathroom was nicely updated but cramped.... More

Like a boutique hotel with more... The staff was great! Nathaniel at the front desk was courteous. Alexis at restaurant Mila was delightful. April in conference services was a big help. Every staff interaction was great. Stayed there for a week. Location gives easy access to French quarter and next to bourbon street.

We travel to New Orleans to see the Broadway musicals at the Saenger Theater and stay at various hotels. As this hotel used to be an office/doctors building we didn't know what to expect, but almost all the reviews were good. I must say we were quite pleased with our choice. The room was a little smaller than some other... More

This was my first trip to New Orleans. I had always wanted to go there. Went with a friend. The location was perfect! Close to the French Quarter, the Riverwalk and everywhere. Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
