This is our first night and I'm already disappointed. So disappointed, I needed to write this review now. Room is VERY small and smells funny. Dust or dirt bits all over sheets like room hadn't been used in awhile. Sticky floor yet the room was...More
Our first time visiting New Orleans, this is where we stayed. The surrounding neighborhood is a bit rough, but I felt pretty safe on hotel property. It is a 10 minute walk or so to Frenchmen Street and maybe 20-25 minute walk to the French...More
If you are used to staying in a Hilton hotel then this place is not for you, however if you are on a budget and want something 10 mins from all the night life then this hotel is highly recommended. The rooms are very functional,...More
Very simple hotel in a nice area but go a block or two north and you are in a bad area. AC was great. Room was very clean. Free breakfast was your typical free breakfast. Strong coffee!

Nestled between the French Quarter and the Ninth Ward, the Faubourg Marigny & Bywater environs are largely residential. Of course, folks around here love to go out and have a good time as much as they do anywhere in NOLA. And if out-of-towners want to join in the festivities, well then so much the better! Home to some of the most revered live music venues in New Orleans, an eclectic gaggle of gourmand dining
destinations, and a come-as-you-are vibe that’s as infectious as it is alluring, this is real deal New Orleans oozing with southern hospitality and the promise of a most epic night out. For endless opportunities to boogie, to admire row upon row of lovingly restored homes, and to escape the fray of the more touristic parts of town (but still live it up in grand style) head to Faubourg Marigny & Bywater.

Good afternoon, yes it is. We have several groups that stay here with us weekly and they walk to everything. Just stay on the main streets that are well lit and you will be just fine. We will have a area map and inform you of the streets, and of course if you all are drinking and prefer to take a taxi back to the hotel it will be no more then about 8 dollars.
