The most eye-catching..
This hotel is NOT stingy with toiletries: soap, shampoo and toilet tissue plenty available, we booked their basic 1 queen bed room with limited amenities on the room [no Fridge nor microwave], well kept room despite the "very small" size.
This place was great, convient to the French Quarter, a true example of what New Orleans has to offer. The staff was extremely helpful in every aspect of my stay. The location is a regrowing part of the city so you get to experience the...More

Nestled between the French Quarter and the Ninth Ward, the Faubourg Marigny & Bywater environs are largely residential. Of course, folks around here love to go out and have a good time as much as they do anywhere in NOLA. And if out-of-towners want to join in the festivities, well then so much the better! Home to some of the most revered live music venues in New Orleans, an eclectic gaggle of gourmand dining
destinations, and a come-as-you-are vibe that’s as infectious as it is alluring, this is real deal New Orleans oozing with southern hospitality and the promise of a most epic night out. For endless opportunities to boogie, to admire row upon row of lovingly restored homes, and to escape the fray of the more touristic parts of town (but still live it up in grand style) head to Faubourg Marigny & Bywater.

Good afternoon, yes it is. We have several groups that stay here with us weekly and they walk to everything. Just stay on the main streets that are well lit and you will be just fine. We will have a area map and inform you of the streets, and of course if you all are drinking and prefer to take a taxi back to the hotel it will be no more then about 8 dollars.
