Facility was clean and comfortable. The hotel was near the highway, restaurants and the casino. The restaurant at the hotel served breakfast, lunch and dinner. Food was good. Valet parking is provided but there is self parking near by.

The area is questionable l. The hotel is dated, needs a little upgrading, especially for what it cost to stay there. Overall my stay was average. Acceptable for last minute booking during an event weekend. However, not my first choice.

The location was almost ideal to where we needed to be for the two days, but ease of transportation and ideal weather made walking a plus. I cannot say enough about the staff. Professional, courteous and very helpful for everything we needed. I will definitely stay here again!

We were on our way to pick up a new member of the family, our new puppy, Penny. New Orleans was on the half way point of Florida and decided to enjoy the French Quarter on the way. We had a great stay with Hilton as all ways.

The checkin was fast because I used the digit checkin! We were able to checkin early which was a plus because we arrived early in the day. Staff were nice and helpful and gave out great recommendations

Very disappointing. Among other shortfalls: poor internet, small bathrooms and very unhelpful staff. $40-plus parking is a joke. I parked on street for $6.00 total. This hotel has zero New Orleans ambiance. Will not return.

Room was filthy, housekeeping did not make beds, left trash and their rubber cleaning gloves on chair, left all trash in room, this was done three of the four nights we stayed, we complained to front desk and was assured that it would be handled and that someone would be in touch to discuss, no one called or anything. The soiled bed cover, unforgiving firmness of the mattress, elevator noise (they gave me an elevator shaft as a next door neighbor) and the poor quality of the dinner (I cannot recommend the stuffed catfish) were not overpowered by other, positive attributes of the hotel. But the staff were friendly, polite, and helpful.

This hotel was gross and a staff member was really unhelpful when we brought up concerns. The bathroom especially was disgusting. I know it's New Orleans and you expect noise outside, but the hotel itself was also incredibly noisy. There are so many better (and cheaper) places to stay in NOLA, so staying here was definitely a mistake!

Staying in Arts District / Warehouse District

Neighborhood Profile
Arts District / Warehouse District
Once a thriving industrial zone, today this district is home to a buzzing arts scene with an amazing assortment of galleries, boutiques, and studios having moved in and set up shop throughout the disused warehouses for which the area is so well known. Much of the art you'll come across here is local in scope, ownership and inspiration. However, among the many old brick warehouses are modern structures of steel and glass housing large-scale cultural institutions of national prominence such as the National World War II Museum, the Contemporary Arts Center, and the Ogden Museum of Southern Art. Just as eye catching as what’s on view inside the galleries and museums is the chance to see your ship come in at the Julia Street Cruise Terminal, which serves as a wistful reminder of the city’s historic maritime prominence.
