I've never had a faster or easier check-in in my life. Didn't know it was possible to check-in so fast. Very clean room, looked recently updated. It was an absolutely perfect place to stay on my layover.
I recieved a text message at 11:40 am on the day we were checking into this hotel with an abrupt cancellation. When I called for any suggestions they spent 20-30 minutes just giving me a run around and then charging me double at one of the other Hilton hotels nearby.
I know we are in Corona Virus Times but..... you can still provide good service and friendly positive attitudes. Housekeeping didn’t think it was important to freshen the room. The front seat did not think it was important for us to have filtered water to fill a water bottle. Glen didn’t follow up in the previous mornings phone call at 6:00 AM to have the empty room next door’s alarm clock to be turned off. So we were awakened both mornings at 6:00 AM with no way to turn it off. The female that dropped off towels because we called that our room had not been freshened, tossed the towels on the bed and said, I’m supposed to drop off towels and get the trash. That is what the front desk told me”. Not — I’m sorry your room wasn’t serviced today. We were busy working with the other 14 people here. The Hotel was basically empty and they could not appreciate the business they had. My husband and I are Hilton Diamond members and we will never stay at this property again. Ever. …
Great Stay! Walking distance to everywhere. Valet parking was awesome! Best stay I have had in New Orleans and will definitely be staying there again. Hilton great job and thank you for the experience!
Drove up to a "VALET ONLY" Hotel - couldn't believe it. Parked...waited for a valet....went inside looking for a valet - no one could be found. I Checked in and still had to LOOK for someone to take the car. NO OPTIONS is the sign of an out of date out of step property these days. If you offer no options - then you're putting yourself in a league of high performance hotels - and you'd better deliver. At my first encounter - this is a bad sign - STRIKE ONE. I ordered a "suite" on line - but there is nothing in the website or was I told when I checked in that ALL their suite are backed up to the elevator shafts - after 2 bad nights of sleep hearing the elevators running all night long - this is a 2nd STRIKE I've held meetings in this property now for two days... no air yesterday - too hot and today you could hang meat in the room it's so cold. After 5 hours of trying to get it to warm up - I was told they had to "re-set" the system and it should warm up. Too long to inform - too little too late - STRIKE THREE this property is "86'ed" in my book. Buyer Beware!…
