This hotel is great. We had a large 2 room 2 queen bed suite with a sleeper sofa. Plenty of room for a family of 5 and a dog ! Popcorn and soda in the afternoon and kickback food at 5:30. Really a meal. Salad, hot dogs, nachos, chili. Plenty to choose Nice rooftop pool with large separate large hot...

Visited with my family and another family. Valet parking is required and was very convenient. The hotel pool was located on top of the parking garage and had a good view of the city. In the afternoons they have fresh popcorn and fountain soda in the lobby. This was a big hit with the kids. In the evening they have...

This was our first stay at a Drury Inn & Suites. We initially booked at the JW but changed based on TripAdvisor rating. Hotel was large and staff was extremely nice. We stayed in a queen suite in new section. The breakfast and Kick-back offered great fresh food. The hotel shows wear and only one (of 2) elevators worked on...

Thanks for staying with us. We appreciate your feedback. Also, sorry for the struggle with the washcloths. Please know that we have received an additional 2000 since your stay (last Friday). In addition, we currently place 3 in each guest room, however, with the size of the suites and higher occupancy counts, we are considering an increase. Finally, please know...

Nice hotel, convenient location, spacious, clean lobby and rooms, full breakfast, happy hour with hot food, just a great value. Only hiccup was front desk offered to get me a taxi to airport at a time certain. Somebody dropped the ball - either the front desk or the transport company - because they were a no show. Apparently, there aren't...

Thank you for your recent stay with us. While I am glad that you enjoyed your stay, please accept my apologies on the taxi ride back to the airport. Please know that we do not have any "arranged" pick-ups. While we traditionally call either Elite or United Cabs for pick-ups, this is due to their reliability. In addition, you are...

We arrived on motorcycles just at the start of a rain storm. They let us stay under the awning till it stopped. Staff was friendly and courteous as always! Very elegant appointments in the rooms and lobby. Can't say enough about the breakfast, dinner and drinks.

I have stayed at his hotel many times since 2005 & it just gets better & better. Check in is super easy, valet parking is great, and now the new evening meal is a wonderful addition to their already great breakfast. We stayed in room 830, in the new addition on 7-23 with my niece & her 4 young children....

I recently stayed 2 nights at this Drury Inn with my 2 children, we loved it. It was very clean, had excellent service and a great location. Not to far away from the french quarter. If we come back to New Orleans we would definitely stay again!

After a long, but positiv and well completed bus tour from Memphis to New Orleans we checked in to Drury Inn & Suites, New Orleans. Entering the lobby we felt standing in a big shop selling expensive furnitures, mirrors and wall and floors of granite. What a wonderful world. Black painted iron railings overall. Could it be better..... NO. What...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
