Perfect for the French Quarter - Clean and quiet but close to everything. Helpful and friendly staff, right across from Armstrong Park and walking distance to Jackson square and Canal Street. Breakfast was good and the pool and exercise room were clean.

We were not aware of the $100 deposit due at check-in, but it was refunded at check-out. We were able to pay cash. Great hotel, nice rooms, good food. Would stay here again as it was reasonably priced and walking distance from Bourbon Street.

I loved the location and Staff at this hotel! Just a couple of blocks to many hot spots. The Staff was very knowledgable and helpful. I am already planning a nother stay and will certainly select the hotel.

Dear Guest, I am sorry that your recent stay didn't meet your expectations. Our parking is limited and at a fee. The gates are closed for security at night but all guests have full access to the garage 24 hours a day, they just have to come to the front desk for access. While Google-ing places to stay in the French Quarter, this one caught my eye for two reasons number 1 being price and 2 the photos. It was like stepping back in time in the lobby, reception, bar and breakfast area (not in a bad way) they have kept it so well and the wood features are beautiful. The room was...

It is a very good hotel right in the French Quarter, the most popular place in New Orleans. From the outside it doesn't show too much, probably because it has to fit into the environment, rather than to stand out. When you get in, it's a different story. There is a beautifully furnished lobby, tempting bar, and a spacious breakfast...

We're a group of veterans in our 60's that meet each year. Everyone I talked to had a favorable experience at the BW NOLA French Quarter; all would return. They allowed us to use the breakfast room for a hospitality suite and helped us with the set-up, take-down and storage of our provisions. The front desk syaff was most accomodationg...

Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
