Adequate American style breakfast is included. Colonial style courtyard 3 story has a small swimming pool. Extremely helpful friendly staff. It is clean and well maintained. I do not recommend it for business travellers as there was no space to spread out your laptop and paperwork. Rooms are dark and there was no bathtub to soak your tired feet. But...

We booked this room for a quick overnight staycation in the quarter. We were able to check in early, and even if we weren't they offered to hold our bags. The room was quiet, 329. Comfy bed, high speed wifi. I have 0 complaints. It's a few blocks from bourbon street, and far enough away so you don't hear all...

Well situated hotel opposite Armstrong Park in the French Quarter. Free wifi and breakfast with both hot and cold items. Didn't use any facilities as was only there for a short visit. We found it perfectly safe walking back to in the evenings. Would happily stay again. My only complaint (and I'm being very picky here) was the room was...

A super hotel with good housekeeping and a substantial breakfast. The Best Western Plus is well positioned for transport into the centre, and is across the road from a wonderful park dedicated to Louis Armstrong, yet it is a small walk into the French Quarter's restaurants and bars oozing music. I would definitely recommend staying here.

This was in an older building but with a lot of southern charm and a historical feel. It had a beautiful courtyard and good parking. It was located in a historical part of New Orleans, and is walking distance from Bourbon Street and Cafe du Monde. It felt very fancy and ornate. We came during the off-season so the price...

The staff was extremely helpful and nice. The hotel is old and needs updating. The rooms are tiny and could comfortably only support 2 people in a 2 bed room. The decor needs updating. The beds are full sizes.

First the good, Good location, near Bourbon street a little far from the rest of what New Orleans has to offer. Price was affordable for a holiday weekend. The courtyard are was really nice with greenery and ample seating. The pool area would be nice if you had kids with you, no jacuzzi. Staff was nice, not overly friendly with...

It's on the fringe of the French Quarter district, but quieter. There's a trolley stop close by which can take you to canal street although most everything is walking distance. Friendly staff. Rooms were clean.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
