We enjoyed staying here overall. The room was clean and big, and the people working were friendly. The location is good, but the only downside was that they did not have a complimentary breakfast. You had to buy from the Starbucks in the lobby, which was good, but it did get a bit expensive. The other thing that was a... More

I stayed at this location for two nights on business in New Orleans. The ride from the airport took 35 minutes via taxi. The staff was very friendly upon arrival and had my room ready at 2 pm. My only complaint about the stay was the location of my room. My window looked out over an air conditioner and duct... More

My family and I stayed at this location March 19 & 20. In advance of our visit, Shalita was able to secure a dinner reservation for us that we had been unable to secure, after indicating she would be happy to try. We arrived at the hotel prior to check-in time, after a frustrating experience with one-way streets and construction.... More

Clean, modern, and perfectly located. We especially enjoyed the fact that the property is shared with the Ritz-- drinks and jazz in the lounge at night before we went back to our room was a great bonus. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. We'll stay here again in the future.

This Courtyard has the look and feel of the 'modern' Courtyard hotels and so has been recently updated. We had a double king 'suite' which were two separate sleeping areas with the bathroom separating the two rooms. There was a wet bar in the room and coffee maker located there too. Our room was an interior room---it had a window... More

We spent 4 nights in this hotel and I have only positive things to say! Location: perfect, you are in the French quarter, seconds away from Bourbon street, but still in a quiet area! So much appreciated (if you know NOLA you know what I mean!) The room was large, modern, with a huge TV! Very clean. The people at... More

This is a beautiful Courtyard Marriott! We decided to stay here closer to Bourbon Street and the French Quarter instead of the Convention Center location and we were very pleased with the hotel. It is a VERY clean and inviting hotel with great staff and beautiful rooms. The rooms are all very large and inviting with a sitting area to... More

Hotel wonderful . Old building completely redone with a few "industrial" decor accents. Lovely , conveient to French Quarter and shopping . Very nice and good price. Quaint room sizes. Nice, reasonable breakfast bar downstairs .

Stayed two days mid-week for business and I found the hotel to be a decent choice. Spacious rooms, but don't count on a view. I had an interior room, so no street noise whatsoever. Plenty of cheap parking options nearby ($20), so don't bother with the parking charge. You are just a few quick blocks from Bourbon, so you can... More

My wife and twin girls (age 10) booked a suite in this hotel for a family reunion. The hotel itself was OK, and the staff friendly enough. Maybe too friendly. The first night we were startled awake at 2am by drunken guests apparently stumbling back to their rooms. Well, it is New Orleans, let it go. But the second night... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
