Four night stay during May 2014. Chose this hotel for the convenience to Bourbon Street, but not on Bourbon. Also, traveling with husband and 20 year old son. The location was perfect...one block from Bourbon...just down the street from Acme Seafood and other restaurants. The front of hotel is located across from a parking garage...not a great view, but a...

Very nice modernization of older hotel. Rooms (Suites) are quite spacious. Location (1 block from Bourbon St., one block from Canal Street (trolley), and adjacent to some of the best and most popular restaurants in the French Quarter) makes it one of the most convenient hotels for seeing the best of New Orleans and, especially, the French Quarter. Great facility...

This is an old property that, while retaining the wonderful architectural features like high ceilings, tall windows, and balconies, has all the modern comforts and conveniences. Most rooms offer something really unique -- 2 KING beds in two separate sections of the room. My sister and I were together for a girls' getaway, and this configuration allowed us each to...

We really enjoyed our stay at the Courtyard. I really wanted to stay at a more historic, boutique type property, but we traveled with our 21 year old daughter and I felt that we'd all enjoy our trip more if had our own rooms. We stayed in the double king room and it was perfect. My husband and I had...

I want to first thank you for staying with us and secondly apologize for the issue with the elevator. Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
