The hotel was clean. It was in a great location, only a block or so off Bourbon St. Far enough, it to hear noise, but close enough that one did not have to walk far, especially for anyone walking back at night. I had a queen suite, that had lots of space, and well equipped. As I was riding my motorcycle thru, it was nice to have a valet area to park & unload my motorcycle. There was a pay self parking across the street.

We've stayed here for 20 years and used to love it. There is plenty of room and a great location but it ends there. In the 20 years we've stayed here I don't think it's even been remodeled or updated. The staff friendliness is lacking and they don't seem to care if you are happy or not I am an honors member and ended up stuck looking at a wall after requesting an outside window. We come to New Orleans about 3 times a year but sad to say we will probably choose another place the next trip. Marriott needs to step up.

The price for the this hotel was good but the valet price was outrageous. There was no bellhop to help and the front desk was unfriendly and not helpful at all. They did not inform me of the special going on when I was staying and were hesitant to even give me a map of the area. When getting to my room I was happy to have 2 king beds but was rudely aquatinted by the house keeper. She laughed at me for asking for 2 more towels. When wanting to call down for service all 4 room phones did not work and both tvs were not working as well. Overall it is a good price but the service lacks manners and amenities.

Clean. Comfortable. Quiet. Easy to get to by car. Pleasant staff. Took two days to fix the ice machine on our floor in NOLA in June. I understand, but it's hard not to note this. The small convenience store near the front desk was not well stocked. While there's a Walgreens a couple of blocks away, a trip there would've been unnecessary had the hotel's store been amply stocked. Still. We'd stay here again. It's not perfect, but far more is really good than imperfect.

This was my 4th and last time staying here. This stay was way overpriced for the quality we received. 1. There were huge stains all over the carpet. Bring slides because you DO NOT want to walk around barefoot in the rooms. 2. The cheap plastic part that attaches the toilet handle kept working itself loose, so during our VACATION, I had to keep taking the lid off the toilet to tighten it. Major inconvenience in the middle of the night. Otherwise, the water would continue to run. 3. Instead of having body wash in the shower, we had two shampoos and one conditioner. Zero attention to detail. 4. Since housekeeping only comes every other day, you have to track down housekeepers for fresh towels. When I caught one in the hall, I asked for fresh towels. She replied, “no English” and kept walking. I was literally holding up our dirty towels, so English wasn’t even necessary for her to understand what I needed. 5. If you come back to your room for a midday siesta, you can forget falling asleep. The housekeepers loudly yapped to each other from one room to another for HOURS. Also, one allowed her phone to ring incessantly. Unreasonably obnoxious. 6. You have to take two elevators anytime you come or go, and there’s only one that can get you from street level to the lobby. It’s a long, time-draining process. 7. The shower is so poorly designed, the door opens on the opposite side from the controls, so the only way to turn on the water is to get splashed with cold water every time. The pros were the friendly front desk staff and the location. Unfortunately, for what I paid, that’s not enough to bring me back here.

This property is conveniently located within steps to many of New Orleans must-see attractions. We initially booked a 3 night stay for a wedding during jazz fest, and because of Chantell, we decided to stay an additional 4 nights. She assured us that we had the best, most comfortable accommodations in the area, and everything promised was delivered. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone wanting to be near everything of interest, and still have a quiet respite to relax at in the evening.

My husband and I were traveling with our 18 year old grandson; we got so much help from the people in this hotel, everything from where to feed a hungry teenager, to airport taxis. They were freindly and kind, especially Shelito Foe at the front desk. The kind of hospitality they showed made this wonderful, vibrant city even more fun!! Thank you so much.

Our extended family of seven, including my parents, traveled to New Orleans to attend the Final Four. As Titanium Elite members, I researched and booked two rooms with points months prior to the tournament. With the inflated pricing that weekend, the deal seemed good. We booked two King Bed suites with a sofa bed in the main area. Unfortunately, when we arrived, all streets leading to the property were barricaded by police due to the Friday night Final Four block party. We were rerouted by navigation and stuck in the mayhem for 45 minutes before calling the front desk for suggestions. They were helpful and suggested we pull up to the next barricade and let the police know our intentions. We finally made it to the property just before midnight. The check-in experience was mediocre. No real issue, our status and gift of points or credit was mentioned, but no further information about the property. We headed upstairs to get settled. Unfortunately, one of the rooms didn't have the sofa bed bedding in the closet. My husband was aware of the late hour and attempted to go to the front desk and retrieve it himself. He was directed to return to the room, and it would be delivered in the next 15-20 minutes. After almost 30, we called to check. The kids were exhausted. We were told it would arrive in next 10 minutes. After an additional 20 minutes we called yet again and were told "It'll be there soon, or I'll bring it up myself". Several minutes later, a loud knock was placed on the neighboring room that already had their bedding. I opened the door to accept the bedding. At this hour when asked about how I was doing, my response was "well I'd be better if I had bedding for my children". Not rude, not nice. Just matter of fact. Big mistake on my part. He returned 5 minutes later, pounding again on the neighboring door to bring additional linens. I opened again to accept and soon I was verbally accosted being told "Lady, you're not the only one in this place. " followed by "why you disrespecting my like that" over and over. My teenage son directed me to step back and shut/dead bolt the door. He continued to shout from the other side of the door "I see you smiling at me". It was threatening, scary and I was stunned. My husband had earphones in and emerged from the bedroom just as we were locking the door. He called the desk to report the behavior and was advised to discuss with the manager in the AM. I let the AM manager know. She refunded the points for one room for the first night. I didn't care about the points or ask for any compensation. I was more troubled by the behavior. She took my number and told me somebody would be reaching out. Nobody did. I did discuss the situation 2 days later with another manager when I was dealing with another issue (we were told we'd reached our "daily limit of charging incidentals" to the room when we attempted to get drinks from the marketplace). Between the troubling confrontation by the housekeeping staff, the incorrect information re: the room charges, and the rooms showing their age (our nightstand was shimmed with a piece of wood and cardboard so it would be level and drawer woundn't open, our minibar sink leaked into the cabinet, stained carpet, etc) I won't choose this property ever again. The real benefit was the location. Walking distance to the stadium, Bourbon St, the casino and the waterfront.
