This is the best of both worlds. We felt like we were part of the French Quarter Scene, but we also appreciated being slightly removed from it. Three adults shared a quiet, well-appointed, quite spacious room. The front desk staff and car valet were both very friendly and helpful. We loved walking to so many excellent restaurants. All of the main attractions and sites were easily reached within a few minutes. Would definitely return to this hotel and would definitely recommend. Excellent security and very clean! Alway felt safe and welcomed.

Just stayed at Courtyard Marriott Iberville and it was wonderful! We arrived the same day the hotel reopened! We were the 4th to be checked in. This hotel has a amazing location next to everything. The front desk girls are amazing and very helpful. They setup all our tours for us at zero charge. The parking people are great too, everyone makes you feel at home. I would 100% stay here again.

Imangine my surprize when I got out of the Uber from the airport and arrived to locked doors of this hotel. NO ONE said the hotel was closed --- even today you can make a reservation here and have NO IDEA that when you arrive you will find doors locked and a sign that tells you to go to the Ritz!!! Whooo hoooo!! Well once you arrive at the Ritz, they tell you oh nooooo, you are going to another Courtyard,(not within walking distance and no transportation provided). Now imangine that you are a single female, toting baggage and homeless people are panhandling for money and you try four locked Ritz doors, before finding the holy grail and can finally enter the RITZ hotel. I NEVER thought a Marriott brand would put me in such a situation. Courtyard folks are certainly not the same caliber traveler as the Ritz guests and are treated as such attempting to be accomodated as the sign on the Courtyard indicates. I'm certain that the Ritz employees are sick and tired of dealing with this since this hotel has been closed for over one YEAR!!!! I assure you I am not a novice traveler -- I travel for business and stay over 200 nights per year at hotels. I am a Hilton Diamond member and have NEVER been treated like this at a Hilton brand. In these hard times -- I find it appaling that this hotel puts money above guest safety ----SHAME ON YOU!!!!!!! This is the second time a Marriott brand hotel has put my personal safety at risk and done NOTHING about it. It leaves me with a bad taste for Marriott properties. DO NOT BOOK AT THIS HOTEL ---- IT IS CLOSED AND HAS BEEN FOR OVER ONE YEAR!!!!!!!! To add insult they charged my credit card for a no show reservation ------REALLY??????????

First off the receptionist staff was amazing! Very helpful & quick check-in. The hotel is really nice, clean, quiet, & safe. Kid-friendly. I booked the king suite. Which was perfect for myself and 2 kids. The room was nice, spacious and well kept. Great location, close to everything wether walking or driving. Next time I visit New Orleans this is where I will be staying, hands-down.

When I arrived I immediately remembered staying at this property when it was the Iberville Suites about 6 or 7 years ago. This was great because I remembered the rooms being spacious and clean and since I was with fewer people I was happy to be staying. From the outside, it looked the same except for the name/brand change. There's an elevator on the main level that takes you up to the lobby. Check-in was fast and pleasant and then I was off to the room. The room was also familiar but not in a great way. It looked like the carpet was the exact same from the previous brand. If it wasn't, I'm not sure how it got so visibly filthy in the last few years. I know it's NOLA and always damp but the room smelled like mildew. It was so bad I had to get air fresheners. I checked out a colleagues room and it had the same smell. Unfortunately, I ended up getting sick and staying in most of the trip. The other unfortunate part was having to stay in that uncomfortable bed. It was the thinnest hotel bed I've ever slept in and I felt every coil. Between the bed and the carpet, I'm not sure which was older. Despite not having the best room, I will say the customer service from everyone including the food area attendant and the front desk crew was amazing. They're the reason this lackluster visit gets 3 stars and not less.

Dear Kayeab, First and foremost, thank you for sharing the details of your past memories at our hotel. However, we are sorry we did not live up to some of your expectations this time and the oversights you encountered in your room. Moreover, we have also acknowledged the issues you had with the comfort of the bed and will address all your concerns with the appropriate individuals.
