My Wife and I and another couple wanted to go to New Orleans to experience the French Quarter and all of its delights. After weeks of reading reviews we settled on The Four Points based on location, location, location! It really is everything. The location of this hotel is iconic and centrally located on Bourbon Street. We booked our rooms... More

Stayed there 2 nights and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. Were able to get a free upgrade to a balcony room with a view of Bourbon Street.Staff was very accommodating and were able to get some extra cups and blankets within minutes of asking. Found pillows a little musty but I am sure if I had complained they would... More

Stop 6 on our USA Trip 2015 Its been on our bucket list for a long time. Bourbon Street New Orleans. Based on previous reviews we booked 2 rooms at the Four Seasons. As I am disabled I asked in my booking for a disabled access friendly room and they delivered in spades. I had a cnr room on the... More

Located right on Bourbon this location was perfect! There was always street acts performing right in front of the hotel at night, but the noise was never disturbing. Danielle (front desk) was AMAZING!!! She was very friendly and gave us great advice. The rooms were very clean and the entire staff were friendly. Bourbon Street has a bad smell (like... More

Really enjoyed the hotel. We had been to New Orleans before but we wanted to stay in the french quarter this time and so glad we did. We got a room with a balcony on Bourbon street. When we got tired of walking and looking at everything we came back to our room and sat on the balcony which was... More

Or for group stayed 3 nights, we had rooms on the backside of the hotel. Beds are very comfortable. Rooms are a bit small, at least it's was ( 333 ). Coffee in the room and in the restaurant was the worst I ever tasted. Pool was closed, really not sure what the problem was. Hear it was very cold.... More

I love the location and felt both very safe appreciated! Clean hotel and reasonably priced restaurant and a friendly staff. My only issue was the pool was very cold which I was not expecting when they have such a lovely courtyard setting.

First time staying here, probably not the last. Very conveniently located on corner on bourbon & tolouse. Our balcony was on tolouse side so not quite as loud as those facing bourbon. When we pulled room darkening shades it really provided a lot of insulation. Room good size but bathroom a little small. Staff friendly. Clean. If you partied the... More

This is the location of the old Chateau Sonesta, which we used to stay at many years ago. They have made a lot of renovations and I guess it's still a work in progress, but the room we had was very nice, clean and comfortable. Beds were terrific and the bathroom amenities and lighting was wonderful. Would recommend if you... More

This was a great experience. Hotel is on Bourbon St. in the middle of all the action. Rooms were spotless. Got a room with a balcony overlooking the pool. Staff so friendly, breakfast was good but not included in the price. Bourbon St. is mad and partying carries on til all hours, but we didn't hear a thing once we... More

Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
