The room was nice enough a little on the small side but the main complaint was the shared balcony, I would of not paid extra had I know the balcony was shared! The problem was there were four rooms sharing the one balcony and their were four tables but every time we came back at night people were using our...

We always book this hotel for Halloween weekend. Its the most perfect location to be in the middle of everything. The rooms are small but very cozy and the beds are very comfortable. We have been lucky to get a balcony to sit outside and take in the city. The staff is very welcoming.

We had a pretty rough start after we checked in and got to our room. First off I was disappointed that as a "Lifetime Platinum" there was no upgrade available for me - but ok sometimes a hotel is really fully booked. Our assigned room was 535 and there were plenty of issues right from when we got there. The...

The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful and we were right in the heart of the French quarter. We had breakfast both mornings in the restaurant and also dinner one night. The prices were very reasonable and the food was delightful. Would highly recommend this hotel

Stayed for two night. Location was great, walking distance to everything. We even walked to the Harras casino. Great customer service and really clean and spacious rooms. Will definitely recommend and will be back again in our next visit to New Orleans

Perfect location, friendly and accommodating staff and nice all around. The room was clean and had everything we needed (blow dryer, iron, multiple mirrors to get ready, large bathroom, no fridge). I would love to stay here again.

Unbeatable location in the center of French Quarters walking distance to everything. Drawback is loud noise from street entertainers at night and transportation is not permitted during promenade hours so if you are checking in after 5 pm make sure your driver knows the back route to the valet/garage parking area. David, the manager, managed to upgrade us to a...

Stayed here one night after having stayed nearby at the Hyatt Centric. Location is great if you want to be in the middle of it all, but I much prefer a balance between being close enough but away from the noise. Rooms are small, especially the bathroom. All staff were friendly, and the room was clean, it just wasn't my...

The hotel is located in the middle of French Quarter, so when tired, you can sit on the balcony and watch the crowd walking on the streets. Hotel room is very comfortable and well equiped. Room was a bit small but furnitures and amenties were good. Breakfast was delicious.

The staff at Four Points by Sheraton in the French Quarter went above and beyond to make our staff special. The hotel was beautiful inside and well maintained. The food in the restaurant was great and served quickly. The balconies on Bourbon Street are very roomy and great for people watching. Be aware that, even after you close your doors...

Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
