picked the hotel based on its bourbon street location. Mistakenly requested a street facing room so that I could witness "the action". BIG mistake. The rooms have zero sound deadening so one gets NO sleep until 4am when the street eventually quitens down. This was not during mardi gras and was an ordinary Tuesday night. Service was dismissive of this.... More

In the heart of the French Quarter. Short walk to Cafe Du Monde and the French Market. Easy walking access to the many bars and restaurants on Bourbon Street and the French Quarter. Parking is a little steep, $30 per day, but parking is expensive in general in New Orleans. Beautiful Pool in the courtyard. All rooms have balcony's (and... More

For many years New Orleans had been on our bucket list. So for our 20th anniversary we went! Honestly you do not need to go at Mardi Gras! It's a party on Bourbon Street every single night 🍻 You hope from bar to bar with your drink. Our hotel was right on the corner of bourbon and Toulouse.. Right in... More

This hotel is just lovely. The rooms are a bit small but very elegant. The balcony we had over the pool was so nice. All the personnel were very friendly. The only downside was you had to valet and the charge is $30. Kind of high in my opinion. :( when you are staying at the hotel. The beds are... More

The location is perfect if you want to experience the French quarters and Bourbon street. The rooms are always clean. The staff is friendly and helpful with any concerns you may have. Thanks to Ms.Shameka for her level of professionalism and with helping me with my last minute accommodations.

Terrible location. Difficult to arrive by taxi/uber in the afternoon, because the police closes the street to car circulation. Extremely noisy until very late at night. All nights, not just saturdays! Offensive odors in the morning due to garbage at the street. Average pool and rooms. Small but nice bar. Helpful staff.

We stayed here four days and it was good! The French quarter was pretty packed and super loud, but the rooms were peaceful and not noisy whatsoever. The attention was incredible, the staff crew were all super friendly and attentive. If I come back to New Orleans I would definitely stay at this hotel again

Thank you to Shameka and the hotel staff here at the Four Points Hotel on Bourbon Street in New Orleans. I was unhappy with my initial room selection and Shameka bent over backwards to place my family in a room that I wanted. The staff at the Four Points are very friendly and extremely helpful! I highly recommend this hotel!!!

We were fortunate to have secured a Bourbon Street view balcony room for the evening. Although checking in was a bit frustrating, once in, it was fabulous. The challenges came because we wanted to check in and then drive around to see the outer city sites. Pulling into valet (because it was not evident where we 'could' pull in) and... More

You couldn't ask to be better placed to be in the middle of the mayhem that is New Orleans. The front door steps out onto Bourbon Street, however the rooms are well soundproofed and a great nights sleep was enjoyed. The hotel has asmallpool, a great patio and fantastic customer service. Thank-you for a wonderful stay.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
