Great stay-loved the History associated with this property. Josh was wonderful to our family! Our kids enjoyed the pool very much and the room was clean and comfortable. The parking is a little strange as it is down the block at another hotel- the staff was very friendly!

What a wonderful experience, staying at the Audubon cottages is always great! I highly recommend the stay here. It is very quiet but only one block from Bourbon St. Very relaxing, beautiful and enjoyable. Super friendly staff and very helpful.

Our family (2 adults and 2 children (ages 5 and 9)) stayed at the cottages in early June 2016 for four nights. This was my wife's and I's second or third trip to New Orleans in which we stayed at the cottages. Overall, the cottages are fantastic. It is a very small hotel (only 7 cottages I believe) with very...

My fiancé and I stayed for three days in cottage #7. First let me say that the property itself is breathtaking, and its location is a perfect starting point for an exploration of New Orleans. The staff is constantly striving to exceed your expectations. However, there are definitely areas that could be improved. I'll break it down into categories of...

After our initial visit 15 years ago, we decided Audubon Cottages would be the perfect place to spend our 40th Anniversary....we could have gone most anywhere in the world but we chose NOLA and the cottages, and it was perfect! Cottage 7 was as welcoming as before (though it has been re-decorated and the bathroom is lovely!), and the accommodations...

We were traveling with our best friends and stayed in Cottage 3 for four days while in New Orleans. This place is absolutely beautiful. Hidden behind a door one block off Bourbon Street is magical oasis full of flowers, trees, courtyards and pool. Our cottage had two master suites, perfect for two couples. A beautiful big central living area. Flat...

This was our second stay at the Audubon Cottages. Eight of us booked cottages 2 and 3 (4 in each 2-bedroom, 2-bath cottage) for the first weekend of JazzFest 2016. We could not have been happier! The venue itself is beautiful and absolutely first-rate in every way. The staff (now our family) is the best--kudos to Josh and Gloria in...

If you aren't in the know you would never find these amazing cottages/suites (part of Maison de Ville hotel). Your own private oasis just steps off of the main drag. Personal butler service (fresh amazing croissants and coffee waiting every morning in your private couryard!!) and a private pool (shared with other cottages. If you are looking for luxury and...

The staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. They took care of everything; making reservations, calling for cabs, etc so we could simply relax. There was an issue with the A/C in our room and it was resolved quickly. The property is close to everything, yet tucked away. A beautiful and peaceful retreat!

Stayed in Cottage #4 for two nights. Lovely, private, immaculate, secure accommodations. Wonderful staff. Bought vegan food for me for breakfast, service was excellent, Alfred was wonderful at the breakfast buffet. The butlers were more than helpful. All the cottages looked beautiful. I would highly recommend this French Quarter accommodation.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
