Came here with high expectations. Maybe ir was for the coronavirus but it was a 3 star hotel Max. People at the front desk, at least the girl that make us the check inn (Kayla) was very rude. Everything at the hotel was closed, not even a glass of water or a cafe.

Dear patricios556, Please be aware that there is a mask mandate in the state of Louisiana and the city of New Orleans. We are expected as an open business to remind our guest that a mask must be warn incase they did not know or did not see the signs posted on our doors and desk. We understand that this may be uncomfortable for some, but we must do our part in order to make sure everyone, guests and staff, are safe. While our restaurant is closed, the gym is open at the hotel and we can gladly give you a glass of water. We have listed on our website what is open and what is not for guest convenience. You may not be aware that a business can be fined or shut down if we do not enforce this. After speaking with Kayla, I agree that you must wear your mask at all time at our hotel as our signs dictate and government officials have mandated. Warm Regards, Taylor McInerney General Manager

Upon checking in Saturday night, we were informed that there would be no daily room maintenance for our stay, but every room receives a "DEEP CLEANING" after check out, due to COVID 19. We had two rooms for two nights. This was our first stay at the Cambria. We chose it based upon stellar reviews here and it's great location. We were disappointed! The BAD Both rooms were far from DEEP CLEANED. Both were not vacuumed. There were chips and other crumbs on the floors. My room had blood stained sheets. The shower liner was mildewed. The air conditioning was inconsistent. One night freezing the next night warm. The cabinet that holds the mini fridge would not close. This caused light to spill into the room at night. I had to prop a bag against it to keep it closed. There is no parking included. Had to pay $30 a night to park across the street. Given $10 per room credit as a Choice member, but nothing was available to spend it on. The Good Sharon Sterling (Front Desk) and Mirabell (Houskeeping Lead) were both extremely apologetic and immediately addressed the issues. Although the cabinet couldn't be addressed until Monday, due to lack of engineers on site. The location is great. Sharon asked was there anything she could do to make my stay a 10. I asked for an adjustment. She said that she would check with management and see what she could do. An adjustment was never received! I really wanted to love this hotel. Great potential. Was it a COVID thing? I don't think so. I think Covid was an excuse! Were they short staffed? Maybe, but it also didn't appear that they were sold out. If they would have followed up on their promise to compensate for our inconveniences, I would have rated a little higher. But due to this entire experience, I can not recommend the Cambria and will not stay there again.

Dear keneths2020, Thank you for taking the time to review the hotel. I apologize for the issues that were present in your room upon check in. We are deep cleaning the hotel and delaying using a room until 24 hours after a guest checks out as time permits. After reviewing your receipt, I see that we did make an adjustment for you. Please reach out to me at taylor.mcinerney@cambrianeworleans.com or 504-312-4975 so that I may send you a new receipt. There are fancier hotels in New Orleans, but none more comfortable or accommodating. Love the simple, industrial decor. A short walk to Cochon and Butcher restaurants. Eddie at the front desk was awesome and helped work through a problem with our reservation. This is the only place we will stay in NOLA from now on!

My husband and I are local to New Orleans, we love going here for our date night. The location is perfect for all the things we are interested in doing. Bars and and restaurants in a 5 block radius. We can do a lot in one night! This is our second time back in 3 months. The first time we came for our anniversary and we told them that. They upgraded our room and brought us champagne to our room! We were able to chromecast our playlist to the TV while we were getting ready. All the rooms have an adorable chaise lounge, concrete ceiling and a preppy skull pattern on the curtains and shower curtain. Barn doors on the bathroom, and really unique smelling soaps. Very cute and intimate and hip. We were checked in by Louis who was super helpful and helped us get our reward points and chatted with us about cocktails. We have seen Will a few times and he is very knowledgeable and genuinely cares about how we are doing and if he can help us. I feel like this is a very competent team.

Everyone I interacted with was super nice and accommodating. Great walkable location to everything. The room was spotless and the beds comfortable. The decor - I loved it! Bar food wasn’t the best but tolerable. When I visit again this will be my first choice! Loved Cambria New Orleans.
