Let me start by saying that I have stayed at and SPG hotel for 90 nights this year. Over mylifetime I've stayed at in SPG hotel more than 700 nights. And let it be no exaggeration that this is the worst hotel that I have ever stayed in. Starting from the front desk to the room and everything else in...

I must start by saying that the staff was very nice and very helpful. Unfortunately, they can only do so much with what they have to work with. One of my biggest disappointments was a policy that requires you to reactive your key cards if you have back to back reservations. We were in for 6 nights total, 3 at...

There are a lot if places to eat well in New Orleans and I have to say that SoBou is definitely one of those places. The service by Alex & Fredrick was exceptional. Located at W French Quarter SoBou is swanky and understated. The ambience is sophisticated and cool which lends itself to a bustling scene. Every dish I had...

Great room and location, staff were so sweet. Would totally stay here again. Pool and lounge are lovely, restaurant SoBou is a bit snooty, but the lady bartender was nice. Room was mostly clean, but don't gimme a robe if it's ratty and has holes. AC was cranked too high. But that is easy to fix

I've stayed at several W hotels now. This is probably the least enjoyable one I've been to. It had a quirky style that is the W, but it also had a little bit of dirty to it. Luckily, it was a good deal because I used points, however paying parties might want to check out the other Starwood property a...

This hotel has a nice historic New Orleans vibe but the rooms are tiny and I could hear everything through the walls and in the hall. The people passing my room and a loud party nearby kept me up most of the night. For the price I would not stay here again unless I didn't plan to sleep.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
