Was a good spot for every place we wanted to visit all walkable! The staff were really friendly and helped us with any questions we had about new Orleans. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to everyone! Very happy with our stay! :)

pros: good location and good breakfast cons: luke warm shower water, broken pool was a disappointing stay for the price. expected a higher level of comfort which wasn't delivered. shower water never got beyond luke warm, cleaning bypassed us one of our days, and the heated salt water pool was broken (big disappointment as this one one of the reasons... Dear Bryan S, Thank you for your review of your recent stay. I am sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations. I certainly wish that we had known about the issue with your shower prior to your departure. I also understand that it is frustrating that our pool heater was not functional, we certainly did not... Definitely would recommend the hotel to friends and family. Fantastic stay and look forward to returning . Staff, room and facilities were everything one looks for in a stay away from home. We were right off of Bourbon St, excellent location.

Super position. Close to the action yet so quiet. The best king bed yet with no noise. Breakfast was good and bar for the night cap was welcoming. Location is everything and this is a great hotel for a short stay.

Block off Bourbon, but quiet and don't get Bourbon St feel. Great for any type trip. Great breakfast buffet and plenty of needed free waters. Second time staying here and will definitely be back! Great Hotel.

Staff, bar and cleanliness were awesome. Bathroom was very tiny. It was a fantastic location. We had a room with a small shared balcony, which was a lot of fun to sit outside late at night and watch the drunk people leaving Bourbon, but that did make it a little noisy, so if you are an early to bed or... The location is great, very nice stuff and grounds are inviting and clean I liked the patio area - very nice and relaxing We had a room on the 5th floor so had some getting used to the sound of airconditioning units above but that was not to bad.

Great hotel. Room was just the right size for a couple. Noise in the room from outside was minimal, but service staff/kitchen staff were very loud early in the morning. Beds were like a concrete slab and HVAC was weak. None of these issues were a huge problem though. Staff is friendly and helpful. Walking distance from all FQ attractions... More

Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
